The SFA say that "raking over the coals" can only "damage the reputation of Scottish football further"

Shameless
But letting cheating & corruption go unpunished isn't damaging at all of course.

It's the cover up that always gets them.

What's the chances of them concluding that old Rangers were 'improperly' registered for UEFA competition but as the SFA did not know that at the time then no case to answer.
I think there is not only a very good chance of that, but it is probably the only outcome we can expect. What sanctions could be applied anyway re the Euro licence since oldco no longer exists?

The timing of Celtic's letter being given to The Times cannot be a coincidence. :hmmm:
Definitely not.

The SFA are up to their knees in it -- and not the usual stuff.

Scottish football is effed if this doesn't go further.

Well not really mate as officially the SFA have corrupted a secret agreement to treat them as the same club.

That same club would have to face heavy sanctions for such a huge fraudulent act.

If they are looking at the uefa licence thing then it's probably because they have the get out already in place. Not sure of all the dates will allow it but i suspect the outcome will be along the lines of 'that bastard Craig Whyte lied'! Everyone else was duped and the 'club' did nothing wrong. Sfa to double Craig whytes lifetime ban.

On the main issue a few observations -

In his recent meetings Doncaster seemed to be trying to put all responsibility and blame to the sfa. Seems to be a split.

Since the supreme court decision Celtic have obviously went through the right channels i.e. the sfa. Celtic or 'independent fans' will now go external.

Regan is just hanging on for as many pay Packets as he can get.he will go but every month longer he lasts he seems to be over £30000 better off.

Nothing to do with Craig Whyte. Licence awarded in April 2011, Whyte took over on 6th May 2011.
Potless Murray, Dave King, Surrender No all involved at the time. Especially Surrender No, he was Chairman.

Not forgetting the elusive Andrew Dickson of Rangers, Sevco, SPFL and SFA.

However, in the letter to clubs, the SFA also informed that the court testimony of two former directors of Rangers Football Club plc (Oldco) regarding "overdue payables" - in what is known as the 'Wee Tax Case' - "might have implications in the context of the Uefa licence granted in 2011".

The SPFL's Neil Doncaster wanted an independent review of Scottish football governance
"On the face of it, there seem to be contradictions between those statements and written representations made at the time," it stated.

Here's what the SFA are hiding from.

Letter from the SPFL to the SFA asking them to participate in a wide ranging enquiry.

Think that number might be busy tomorrow
Oh. Did I put up a picture that had an SFA number in it? That was incredibly careless of me. ;)
Yes you did. Inadvertently. And that number was...

0141 616 6004

I hope no one on here or other fans forums calls that number tomorrow.

Some poor lassie Sandra Buchanan - Be nice now folks
Was pretty certain none of the blazers had the guts to put up any direct line.
Poor Sandra is going to get the headache tomorrow deflecting our righteous anger.

These were admitted by various Huns in the Craig Whyte trial so there should be no defence or any chance of avoiding punishment for those offences.

I can see the SFA hammering the Huns for the wee tax case and the res 12 stuff but hiding behind LNS for the big tax case and avoiding stripping those titles.
Why would the wee tax case not lead to the stripping of titles?

Am I missing something or is this the SFA trying to hang Sevco out to dry in some way with the wee case and the UEFA license by referring it to the compliance officer and trying to save their own arses over anything that might arise from the Other tax case?

Almost like they're hoping that gesture will appease and stop calls for any more to happen.

As pointed out by Dubz (above), the SFA's compliance officer would, by necessity, be investigating the involvement of King, Paul Murray, Alistair Johnston and Andrew Dickson in the granting of the UEFA license to Rangers IL in 2011

Ah right. Sorry missed that.

Thing is, have the SFA deliberately, inadvertently or mistakenly brought this compliance officer to the door of the current Sevco incumbents?

Undoubtedly however, this is heating up nicely. Very nicely.

We were told a long time ago that when the dam finally bursts then the SFA will attempt to push ALL blame onto RFC. That isn't acceptable as they must also be held to account for their willing compliance in this whole fraud but it's certainly the way it's turning out.

We have them on the run.
