Said a couple of weeks back that we are "on it" , and I'd hopefully expect a Statement next week. As always, it's a moveable feast dependent on which way the wind blows, but a full Board Meeting today has cleared the path for a start to things . It will be interesting to see the strength of the language as and when it comes.
Over a month and still radio silence... We any further along here, or have we just to accept what we all feared would happen?

Speaking of which, when's the next AGM?
Nothing is going to happen. It never was.

The board have no appetite for this fight.

The fact that a number of people are still in jobs and that there's been no accountability whatsoever in our governing bodies tells us the story. If there's any movement it will be forced by the fans.

I think there are a lot of us out there waiting in the wings to fund any legal challenge from the fans. Peter, if we reach the last 8 in Europe win the treble, and score over 30 goals against the hun this season I for one will be just as angry . We haven't gone away you know.

Didn't realise PL ran Celtic all on his own :o
he has the biggest influence apart from the owner so the buck stops with him.

if he wanted the board to pursue the issues above it would have done so.
If the owner has the biggest influence, why doesn't the buck stop with him? :ponder:

In any company, the board set the direction of the company and the CEO implements it. That's a generalisation, and the balance differs in any given company at any given time, but that's pretty much how it works.

Either way, it's ultimately DD's responsibility. He either decided that the strategy was to let Rangers off with it, or he gave PL the authority to decide that the strategy was to let Rangers off with it. DD's decision, ultimately, however you slice it.

I'm not a huge fan of PL, but the buck stops with DD.

Well we should all know DD's love of the new/dead club that plays out of Ibrox by now. Indeed, the much-publicised 'spat' between DD and DCK in the dignitaries' section in Hampden has always seemed to me to bear all the hallmarks of manufactured outrage, intended on putting distance between DD and his previous love-in with the new/dead club.

The board gets a lot of things right and we could do a lot, lot worse; but when it comes to matters apropos deadco/newco, I don't think they can be trusted as far as they can be punted. I don't think anyone with any influence over the Scottish game can, barring of course the fans.

If it was a murder, we'd have reluctantly been the ones to wipe the fingerprints off the gun before passing it to Aberdeen to dispose of, while watching with a bit of a bad taste in our mouths as the rest of the SPL pretended not to see what happened to innocent old Scottish football.

Turns out it was a murder-suicide and the killer's swivel-eyed hick cousins have come in from the sticks to claim the fixtures and fittings and every carrot seems to be a wee bit scared, or else think that all that's left is scheidt anyway, so they're happy to just let them have it.

It would be interesting to know the opinion of ECA's Executive Committee on La Liga's accusation of financial doping by PSG and Man City, given that Lawwell and, I believe, representatives of PSG and Man City are on that Committee.

Also, on BBC Radio Scotland last night, Broadfoot admitted that he still represented the SFA on 'difficult' issues. Has he been sent out by the SFA to spin the message?

Another guest on last night's programme was the lad from Pie and Bovril who had the Twitter spat with Regan over Scotland ticket prices. He said that Scotland fans had issues with the SFA over "a number of issues" including "the SFA's handing of the Rangers issue."

Broadfoot dismissed this as an SPFL issue. A lie ! A blatant lie !

It is patently obvious that only the fans can expose the cheating and corruption in Scottish football, as those in power, including the clubs, SFA, SPFL and SMSM, have no appetite to do so, which makes them all complicit in the scandal

Couldn't agree more its going to take the fans of the majority of the bigger clubs to stand up and be counted.

What happened to the people who were coming out with the "hold your fire, until we get prepared" guys?
Seemed to suggest crowdfunding for a judicial review - think it might have been related to CQN...
Anyway, whoever they were - they've seemingly gone all quiet.

Reading the contributions on various websites from our acknowledged expert on the subject, Auldheid, it seems to me that this is a much longer game than many want to concede. You don't go for the jugular unless you have clear sight of it. The corrupt bastards at Hampden would love it if we crashed and burned because our ducks were not in a row.

We've been saying that since 2012.

I believe the club are still involved in this and it is part of a very long game which is frustrating.

What is even worse in my opinion is our fellow fans (CQN) giving us a so called bombshell then leaving it there with not a word on it for weeks. They have handled this terribly from a Celtic supporters viewpoint as they have deliberately kept us in the dark.

Either that or the whole thing was made up which would be even worse for them. . . .i'm prepared to believe them that they have something but their silence (even to come out and say this is still ongoing) is wrong.

We've been saying that since 2012.
And the Andrea Traverso letter from Uefa confirming they were zombies arrived just over one year ago. And was promptly bowdlerised by the liar STV Grant. They have circled the wagons. We are picking them off. One step at a time.
