I remember when all the hullabaloo surrounding RTC was on the go, Barcabhoy frequently posted referring to something nuclear that he never divulged. Match fixing would be fantastic bombastic for me!
He has hinted on Twitter tonight that this is what the basis of his story was

I'd be a bit surprised that anyone wouldn't have burned every piece of paper, computer and bit of Internet relating to this.

If it's in any way true, jelly, ice cream, pepparami, and a can of kestrel is in order.

Kestrel?
Too far man :boik:
I'm more a Broughton or Innis & Gunn guy at the moment but as homage to WGS, I'd neck a kestrel. :) ;)
I'm thinking of buying a devil dog,

It makes perfect sense from the people who don't consider there was any wrongdoing to begin with. It might (I say might) even help our own illustrious board having these cheating Huns in positions of power, as it allows them to silently point to their presence as an explanation for their own hands being tied (i.e. their glorious inaction).

Is that me being paranoid, or am I not being cynical enough?
We are not capable of the paranoia that could come out of this latest.

http://www.celticquicknews.co.uk/a-developing-story/

As long as it doesn't take 4 bloody years like Res12 did to investigate but it sounds sound.
Won't get my hopes up as these silver bullet type situations never seem to come to much (if these turn out to be famous last words no one will be happier than me), but it sounds like someone has some (at least suggested) evidence of wrongdoing. The reference is almost 100% to Dunfermline and this CQN article from last week. It's all a bit cryptic though, so we shall have to wait and see.

Sounds like codswallop

"This admission was the subject of a CQN Magazine exclusive last week, and it was our initial intention to blow the story wide open…

Until the SFA got in touch and not just the once.

The governing body wants to know more."

"Today, taped interviews and emails have been seized by the powers-that-be at Hampden, and a formal period of preliminary investigation is now underway.

This case is now live, and, as such, we are duty-bound to refrain from providing any further details that may prove prejudicial to the ongoing SFA enquiries."

This reads like a lot of utter shampooe. If they want people to believe this, they're going the wrong way about it.

This should have been sent to the Fraud Squad, UEFA, Reuters, Thomson at CH4, and the the Scottish footballing authorities simultaneously IMO.

However good luck to the dedicated people who've been chasing this. I'm sure they have put the utmost effort in and will have a clear plan of action to make sure it pays off.

I agree. All 'process' aside, if I had information like that the SFA would be the last to know.

Anyway, when're Celtic addressing the EBT/Registration issue?

Was at Rugby Park that day, only getting back from Seville the night before. and Kilmarnock defended like their lives depended on it, even at 4-0 down.

It took a while, but remember watching the goals from their game many months later and lets just say the Dunfermline goalkeeper had started his holidays early.

Back at Kilmarnock, ex 'Celt' Gordon Marshall was celebrating a 4-0 defeat like they had won the cup, big Hun that he is.

Ps And their sixth was never a penalty.

Seemed great in the Twitter frenzy of last night but this morning ........

As many have said , do all the work to uncover this stiry then hand it all over to...........THE SFA ! The very bunch who have form for covering up and ignoring as much as possible stuff like this , "nuclear" stuff. ? I'm dubious. Even if as CQN claim they can publish at anytime they are at least giving various parties a heads up and time to get stories straight/destroy evidence/ work on their evasion strategies .

Can't see it coming to much .

Was there with my sister. Atmosphere was horrible, Kilmarnock fans cheering Huns goals going in. On way out i had to hold my sister back when one killie fan offered his hand with "no luck" and a big grin. She went effin mental. Did some carrot not do maloney early on too?

Can't remember Busa. If you can do it, go watch the Hun goals on Youtube, and watch the Dunfermline goalie. Coco the Clown would have done better that day, and as I said, the penalty for the sixth........

Pretty horrific if true but at the end of the day it's still 11 v 11 on the pitch and because it was so long ago no mechanism will be in place to investigate it.
edit I'm assuming this is a fishing rod moment

I think you can assume they have copies of everything. Maybe giving the SFA the chance to act before passing to someone else. Hope so anyway.

Sure it was Kilwinnings own Alan Mahood that done him. Look at some highlights of the game, Kilmarnock players were allowed to assault us that day.

And, if memory serves, the Dunfermline goalie was Mr Derek Stillie from Cumnock....
