Said a couple of weeks back that we are "on it" , and I'd hopefully expect a Statement next week. As always, it's a moveable feast dependent on which way the wind blows, but a full Board Meeting today has cleared the path for a start to things . It will be interesting to see the strength of the language as and when it comes.
Is this the resolution 12 stuff? Or are we preparing a statement about the Scott Sinclair racism leigh Griffiths bottle incidents etc? Or both hopefully.

No doubt they're taking the measured and calm approach to those incidents, too.

I wouldn't expect anything on Sinclair and Griffiths now even if they are compiling a case against the spl/sfa in the background. Celtic won't put up to UEFA and the issues are completely separate.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Any act of charity to the poor is, by its very nature, also an act of protest against the structures which render the poor, poor. Therefore it is a political act. (Think of that any church goers who lob a few shekels in the plate but claim that the church should not act politically.)
Karl Marx CSC.
Sorry, that is utter tripe! Food banks and other charities are supported by people of all political persuasions.
That doesn't negate Marx's point, Kellybhoy. Regardless of a person's political persuasion, and regardless of their critical awareness, when a person donates to a charity they are acting politically.

Let's not get hung up on what political means.

When people - including UEFA and the police - say things like "keep the politics out of football" they really mean "keep politics which we consider controversial and/or divisive out of football". The trouble, in the case of UEFA, is that it's their ball.

Res12 stuff. It is still an open item on AGM agenda so any progress by Celtic whom it was handed over to in December with advice to wait SC Decision and CW trial then pick up which they now are needs reporting at AGM.

Question is, did they decide not to appear because of the reaction, or did the club not invite them? :suspect:

Doncaster was at Livi game yesterday. Probably snubbed by Celtic and Hibs.

He managed to get to Ibrox last seasons opener.

Another reason why “moving on” is impossible and why the SFA and SPFL AND our clubs have got it all wrong.

Fisiani,

Celtic aren’t employing a QC . The fans are.

Celtic have direct access , as a member of both the SFA and the SPFL. They have already succeeded in a committment from the SPFL to a wide ranging enquiry . We await the terms of reference of that enquiry. However it will not include the potential to set aside the LNS enquiry, according to Rod McKenzie

Hence the need for the fans to ask a court to do so.The basis is LNS was not provided with relevent evidence of use of unlawful or irregular tax schemes . LNS , by his own words , said he proceeded on the basis that these schemes were lawful. He also stated that the SPL had rules to prevent breaches of Sporting Integrity and he found Rangers guilty of that , but not in a manner that provided Sporting Advantage.

Based on what was hidden from LNS plus what has been ruled on by the Supreme Court , that conclusion by LNS looks fundamentally flawed

The SFA have failed completely in their role as protector of the game. I have no doubt whatsever that Celtic want fundamental change there. However at this stage the fans don’t have a specific decision that the SFA have made , in regards to the Sporting Advantage , that was the subject of an independent panel, and therefore open to a JR request
I agree that the non decisions described above by BRTH should be the subject and included in an SFA commisioned fully independent review . However as yet they have decided a 3 monkeys approach is all we are getting . Lets see if Celtic get enough support from other clubs on this one

A wide-ranging enquiry isn't a success, and if Barcabhoy and/or Celtic think it is, they're deluded.

Since 2012 the whitewashing of all this has all happened in full view of everyone, including Celtic. Celtic are on the inside and being treated like excrement on a shoe. They don't seem to mind it too much.
