Said a couple of weeks back that we are "on it" , and I'd hopefully expect a Statement next week. As always, it's a moveable feast dependent on which way the wind blows, but a full Board Meeting today has cleared the path for a start to things . It will be interesting to see the strength of the language as and when it comes.
Everything the board has done to date has been measured and calm

Expect more of same

It's a long game

Their "measured and calm" approach has achieved nothing. They should have jumped straight onto the Bryson lies as soon as they were uttered. By not doing so they have allowed the current situation where the LNS inquiry is being used as a legal block on further action.

eff that. Cheer Broony from the stand to the flagpole then back again.

Any boos are going to embarrass him , and this is his moment.
Wait till he is inside , then chant eff the sfa spl whatever. Considering the week Broony has had from the trolls, he should be getting our focus , not that dickhead.
I'm sure Broony will by quite certain who the boos are aimed at. However, 5,000 waiting at the entrance for Doncaster when he arrives would be even better.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Food banks are run by charities, like St. Vincent de Paul and the Salvation Army. How could they be political? :ponder:
food banks have nothing to do with football. so it's political.

double standards here are remarkable.
So anything that isn't football related is political? That'a a new one on me.

Any act of charity to the poor is, by its very nature, also an act of protest against the structures which render the poor, poor. Therefore it is a political act. (Think of that any church goers who lob a few shekels in the plate but claim that the church should not act politically.)

Sorry, that is utter tripe! Food banks and other charities are supported by people of all political persuasions.

The fact that food banks and charities are needed is down to political choices. Low wages and benefit cuts as well as a lack of affordable social housing are all decisions made by governments that prefer to give tax breaks for the rich rather than care for the needy.

If fatboab is right, perhaps he was stuck in discussions in Lawwell's office :ph43r:
