In the last few months, and this is off the top of my head, The Suits at Celtic are guilty of:

- failure to demand SPFL/SFA appropriately discipline Ibrox huns over the pitch invasion and throwing of missiles at Celtic players in the 1-5 game
- failure to demand appropriate retrospective action against the Aberdeen player who broke KT's jaw in the Cup final, and the officials who ignored it
- failure to stand up to UEFA over Linfield's inability to comply with the terms of the CL qualifier draw
- failure to allow Celtic fans the chance to support the team
- failure to condemn Linfield huns for the racist abuse of Celtic players
- failure to demand UEFA discipline Linfield huns over racist abuse of Celtic players
- failure to pressure UEFA to rescind Griffith's booking when he was protecting himself from missiles
- failure to instil confidence that they are seriously committed to pursuing justice over cheating huns & corrupt SFA
- failure to manage the fallout from the Linfield home game

I knocked this list up after reading about the PF's decision to wash it's hands of the Ajax scum who wreaked such havoc and caused so much harm to Celtic supporters. At the time, it occurred to many on here that the club ought to be demanding answers from Police Scotland as to why such a large mob of armed hooligans could be allowed to be at large, never mind evade it's police escort shortly before it approached the Gallowgate, and then get a clear 10 minutes to assault innocent victims. I don't recall any public record of Celtic even expressing concern that this could occur, never mind demanding an explanation.

This Board are not protecting our fans, not even protecting our players.
This board main concern is sanitising the Celtic support.

They are not interested in ruffling any feathers in any other direction. They want a Scottish version of Man U/City fans.
The Celtic support need to make their feelings known, either way....

Exactly

Celtic and PL were in on the LNS fix.

When you dont want to rock the boat and jepordise your million quid a year then the "staus quo" looks good.

Thats why nothing will happen.
PL is not in on the "fix"
I spoke to him the day after the LNS decision and he told me that "he couldn't comprehend how he came to that decision".

He was as flabbergasted as you or I.

Board deciding not to sell TV rights to Norwegian TV totally screwing over RBK fans.

"Football without the fans is nothing"?

They'll tap into the history of the club when they pick and choose it seems. They're absolute hypocrites.
Pretty sure that statement wasn't a reference to people sat on their couch watching TV in Norway.

No problem at all with the club blocking TV coverage, presumably as the intention is to sell as many tickets to the game as possible.

He must be thick then
The terms of reference of LNS inquiry were fixed before anyone got up to speak
It was designed to come to a certain decision

If Celtic roll over and meekly accept this decision, like they do with all UEFA ones, then they really have no idea on the mood of the support (McStay excepted).

The board must do everything to get an independent review. This should not be left to supporters to fund or organise.

If they don't, F.C Shamrock of Glasgow beckons.

Not surprised by the SPFL statement but still disappointed.

I think Celtic P.L.C. will tell us that thems the rules and get over it or words to that effect.
I think so too, nothing in it is a surprise really.
So it's official. The rules have been re-written to accommodate a Rangers FC as a perpetual "club", passed between whatever bunch of crooks and shysters are "operating" it, ignoring rules and shedding debt andiwhenever it builds up to much, while keeping their titles. And all with the assistance, of the governing bodies.
You have to hand it to Ogilvie, Dickson and Reagan, they put a lot of effort into re-writing and subverting their own rules, and it shows. Well done.
Pity that Gretna or Airdrie weren't big enough to justify the same effort, but there you go. Had Fergus not bailed us out, I'm sure the same effort would have gone into ensuring that we would have survived liquidation unscathed. Probably.
I suppose Ann Budge will be explaining to the Jambos why they went to all the effort t get a CVA too.
Me; I think I'll start spending my money, and probably my time, again on Scottish Football when it demonstrates that it's something more than a Rangers FC life support system.

As I've said previously, if Celtic don't stand up for the game then I can't reasonably see how I can continue to go to the games and pay my money to watch a flawed game.

The HuddleBoard have already started a thread asking who is willing to donate towards a challenge for a Judicial Review, started by a poster who knows his stuff called Darkfish.

I'm sure once a link is up to a donation page it'll be on here.
