I suspect the club's first statement will be along the lines of "we note with interest today's verdict, and we await further clarification from the SFA/SPFL before commenting further".

We probably could go straight for the jugular now, but that's definitely not the board's style. You'd like to think that Lawwell or someone at the club has at least been on to the SFA & SPFL to give them an idea of what our response to different scenarios would be though.
They've been silent for 5 years. They should not be putting out pish like waiting to comment further. They need to take action and swiftly.

They've had years to prepare for this.

We've been robbed. They owe it to every one of us to take swift, decisive action.

I totally agree, we've all been following Celtic far too long to honestly expect any different though.

I hope I'm pleasantly surprised by the statement when it comes obviously.

i am sure Celtic made a statement after the last decision that found in HMRC favour

saying something along the lines of they needed to wait to really say what they wanted to because BDO still had the option to appeal the decsion - which they obviously did.

Now the final decision has been made and no more appeals can be made i think they will hold their powder dry and go over the final judgement with their lawyers - see what the SPFL and SFA say first and then make a statement.

I fully expect them to go after having any titles or trophies won by the cheating dead club during the EBT years to be stripped from the record books.

Let's be honest there are probably some arseholes in the Celtic boardroom who'd rather they won the case so they could say 'we did all we couldwhile doing eff all.

They need to get at this and get it done full pelt.

Expected that kind of statement. More or less says there was a sporting advantage, Rangers cheated, SFA and SPFL need to review their decision again and if their decision is less than expected then we'll do something about it

I would say its a reasonable opening shot, a quick parry straight back into Regan and Doncaster's court.

looks more like (hope) they are calling the authorities bluff on this now that they have been found to be cheating or gaining an unfair advantage . Id like to think that should the authorities response not be sufficient that's when the club will go to town

It is spot on as an opening gambit. They can hardly say "the huns feckin cheated, gies their titles". We can say that, but a football club can't. The statement says everything; they cheated, they gained an advantage by illegal means, look at it again and give Scottish football justice.

Jabba. In all of this I'd forgotten that fat tramp's sign off from the Record where he took great delight in telling everyone that when it came to the tax case the FTT had made sure the "Rangers wur vindicated" and should demand apologies from all sorts.

Off ya pop, fat boy. You've once again been exposed as a hun lickspittle and total fraud.

We should be demanding a review, its just another 'lets wait and see what the SFA/SPFL do'. They've been silent for 5 years after we were cheated for 15. I'm fed up of the 'I'm sure they are putting pressure on behind the scenes' pish that is constantly posted here. I want their anger to publicly match mine. Is that unreasonable? Maybe it is, but I think its effing outrageous that I spent thousands of pounds on a rigged competition and I want justice.

I agree, the club should be out in front of this demanding a review of the LNS stitch up or if possible a judicial review

Maybe, but not at this stage
The result speaks for its self, better let the SFA/SPFL respond first.

It is anything but wishy, washy pish. It is exactly what a professional and sensible organisation would say. Celtic have made it very, very clear to sfa/SPL that they are not going to let this matter be forgotten. I suspect Regan and Doncaster s day has just got a bit worse.

And what exactly are the Scottish football authorities going to say or do?

We all know the answer to that one.
