What Splob patently fails tae get, is the value of momentum in driving a football club/team forward.

What should be happening, for a club of our size right here/right now, is that Sinclair should be signed, and making his debut at Tynecastle on Sunday.

That lot are likely to be waiting to see if we get lucky, in tomorrows draw, before making any kind of move :twitch:
Forgive my ignorance/bad memory, but what is SPLOB again? I remember "sharp-suited man" (those were the days), but it all goes a bit hazy after that.

Rodgers, Dembele, Toure, Sinclair.

Desmond and Lawwell are doing a good job of this summer.

Let's hang fire until, we get the players in that manager needs for the CL. We still need reinforcements.

Agree that we could do with a few more in.

But it's been a good window so far.

Hopefully we'll see some deadwood out the door and a few more first team players in. A real defensive midfielder and a goalie and I think we'll be onto something.

Not too bad cautious optimism would be in order

It's good to see players that go straight into the team being signed

Toure and Dembele both played their part on Wednesday, not sure we would have manged it without them

Much of the mess was Ronny's as well to be fair.

We're a very winnable tie away from the Champions League, we've got a manager most of us wouldn't have dreamed of having 18 months ago and we've done some good deals in the transfer window. Nothing wrong with giving a bit of credit where it's due.

We have a midfield to sort out. I won't be tonguing the board's chute until it is resolved.

There is a point were healthy scepticism turns to cynicism.

The club hasn't put a foot wrong in the last 3 months. This has the potential to be the best window for over a decade.

Credit where it is due.

Id expect it to take 3 'windows' to do that. We're still a collection of mediocrity

I'm sure the SMSM will soon turn their investigative prowess to the convicted criminal in the Sevco boardroom and thoroughly and forensically analyse the Hong Kong Laundry Theory

no they won't.

they wouldn't even look into craig whyte's history. he had wealth off the radar.

but seriously they don't care where it's coming from as long
as the hoardes have a comfort blanket that makes them dream
of a team from ibrox being (back) at the top.

they ignored the warnings from the late hugh adam.
and they ignored the warnings from phil.

so there's no chance they'l investigate where gasl's stash is.
it won't sell papers.

great innit

Interesting. There doesn't seem to be anything whatsoever in the DD story that warrants it coming out today
Can't date the Harvie quote but I don't recall his every utterance leading the news agenda
The story serves no purpose other than being negative about Celtic and simultaneously having a crack at our 'morality' this week
For the watching . Again
(Disclaimer - I've no qualms about the filthy shenanigans of the uber rich being dragged out into the light)

It's a pity their powers of investigation are so muted when it comes to EBT's, the standing of a business post liquidation, etc etc. The nut of this story revolves around a £30,000 fine, I know nothing about bank regulation but is that no a teeny amount for a bank to be fined if there is a serious malpractice found by a regulator!
