The direct quote is "new club/company" is it not?

I think that needs clarified. If UEFA are using the words 'club/company' it certainly doesn't make it crystal clear.
Of course it does. . it means both.

If it was nothing to do with a new club they wouldn't have put the word 'club' anywhere near their reply.

Because a new club and company was set up.

Ask yourself why the word 'club' is there at all if that's the way you're taking it.

See, I have always seen it as a new club. I don't need anyone to confirm that.

The picture has always been blurred by the use of nonsense such as 'company', 'holding company', 'the company that owned the club'. So I don't want to see the word company anywhere.

So why any need for 'club/company'?

For this to carry any sort of weight the letter needs to be published.

They have used the expression "club/company" so that no amount of mealy mouthed bullshampoo from the SFA or the Huns allows them to escape the verdict. Club=company. Same thing.

Huns were due to play in Europe though and the fact they then didn't says it all.

Exactly.

It's not rocket science and is laid out very clearly.

Which blogger wrote, in capital letters, "Rangers have won 4 in a row and are well on their way to 5".
Whilst some of us were availing ourselves of decent prices considering we had to play them 3 times, not to forget that the 10 pt. deduction would come into play.

As I say, I will always see them as the new club they are.

In my view it is unfortunate the word 'company' appears as it allows those who pretend and play with words a sense of comfort.

A clear use of the word club only, would have been crystal clear.

UEFA's reply was not based on what you've ben blurred by in Scotland mate.

Take the reply in isolation to the bullshampoo from them and the Scottish media.

A new club/company was formed. . .a new club and a new company.

So the Huns lied, the SFA did nothing and it's too late to do anything. Nothing new.
Nothing new for us but it's the first time UEFA have made it crystal clear they are a new club.
The direct quote is "new club/company" is it not?

I have no doubt that the "quote" is real. A quote without the relevant document being published will cut little ice.

I have no doubts they are a new club. I don't need the evidence to shown. However you will not convince the rabid huns the quote is genuine without the proof.

That's the way I read it. Club/company indivisible.

I suppose they could have come out and said something like 'the old company was liquidated, but the club was put in an incubator, and when a new company was formed and was granted a footballing licence, the club was removed from incubation thus making sure that the historical thread was unbroken.'

I see it as both a new club and a new company. Them not participating in Europe whilst having qualified to do so should be crystal clear to all including those seeking comfort from any carrot that they're a new entity.
