Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
And they (UEFA) would have told the Res12 lawyers they were doing this?
Do you think a club who were asked for a submission on the issue (and submitted it) would not then be informed by UEFA on their conclusions? Of course that could happen. But same conclusion would've been sent to other parties. In which case I can't imagine the reason for any delay in releasing the information. If full disclosure is being with held for valid reasons, then fair enough.
Just fed up with hinted at potentially explosive outcomes which never materialise.

It sorta throws doubt on the implicit claims of a new club in the CQN comments earlier if the so-called new club were asked for submissions does it not? Unless it was under the 'SFA membership' umbrella Can only state what I know mate but I don't think CQN are going to make up the contents of a letter from UEFA.
Could 'Rangers' have told the SFA this is nothing to do with them as they are a different entity?. . . .they have tossed this new club/old club coin many times to help themselves in any given situation.
The ramifications of this for them remaining the same club would have been huge. .a one or two year European suspension. They simply couldn't have lived with that.
Who knows.

Everything will eventually come out.

What ever happened to the chat about PL being replaced by "Junior"?
Serious question.
Were the rumours not coming from 6 counties based guys in the know, who got Rodgers news correct before being announced?
Just seems that any good will the board had recently earned, might be limited to getting Rodgers in & Stokes out as far as I'm concerned. Hoping for more than that, but it's early days I suppose & this res12 thing is taking a long time..

Just to be clear, He Cometh seems to be saying that the Huns would've been kept updated on this issue given their quasi-involvement. Are you saying that the Huns wouldn't have received any communications on it?
That's exactly what i'm saying mate. It's fairly obvious that everyone who had been asked to submit evidence etc and who were involved in the whole situation would then be notified of UEFA's conclusions on the matter. That makes sense. I haven't a clue about the media reporting of it, was just agreeing that the Huns would likely have been involved in correspondence on the issue.

IMG_0962.JPG The Res 12 ‘news’ 139 BY PAUL67 ON21ST JUNE 2016 CQN BLOG & COMMENTS Credit to STV, who at least called Uefa to ask what was going on, and got a taste of the correspondence, with the carefully chosen words, “Rangers’ three-year exclusion from playing in Europe after going into liquidation was the major factor in a case not being pursued”.
Uefa’s correspondence to the Requistioners was far more explicit on the new club/same club point, and took no cognisance of other matters (5-way Agreement, anyone?).
It’s remarkable (and a credit to all involved) that Uefa responded to the Resolution 12 questions over two weeks ago but news didn’t leak. It’s simply not been possible for the guys to comment while matters progress, and despite yesterday’s ‘news’, they have avoided the temptation to fire off a response (others have also felt it imprudent to step into a public debate) for what remains an issue under legal guidance.
I know the lack of public information is frustrating (as is the associated flack, b.t.w.), but my best recommendation is that we let them get on with it.

More likely that if they see a rise in sales (in Glasgow), it might encourage more features on the Res12 issue.

Peter Lawwell going for a post on the SPFL board. Hopes he gets this before this twit.
Spoiler: click to toggle Ibrox managing director Stewart Robertson confirms he'll stand for election to SPFL board and declares that 'Rangers are key to selling Scottish football'.
There are two Premiership vacancies on the nine-strong board due to Retirement of Celtic’s Eric Riley and relegation of Dundee United.
Parkhead chief executive Peter Lawwell has confirmed he will stand.
Hearts owner Ann Budge is also considering a run for office.
Rangers managing director Stewart Robertson has confirmed he will stand for election to the board of the SPFL next month.
Unsuccessful in his bid to win election at the SPFL AGM last year, Robertson hopes for better fortunes on July 20, claiming the presence of Rangers at the top table could help to sell the Scottish game to sponsors and broadcasters. ‘I think the game itself is probably in need of a bit of freshening up,’ said Robertson. 'It has been the same for the last three years and the guys have done a good job for a period of time. But Eric is retiring this season, Dundee United were relegated so Stephen Thompson has resigned. ‘I feel we have got a good board at Rangers, we have got a lot to add and I think it would be great to see some more positivity in Scottish football. We need to get positive messages out there to market the game positively. ‘With some of our signings – Joey Barton for example – and Celtic bringing in Brendan Rodgers, the game is more sellable. ‘We are not where we were during the Dick Advocaat and Martin O’Neill era - but we are getting to a stage where we can sell it again and people are more interested again. I like to think I can come and look at it not just with a Rangers view - but with what can help the game from the SPFL’s perspective? ‘How can we improve communication, for example? It is a consistent message from clubs. There have got to be ways we can look at getting our message across. It is down to the clubs. I will stand and see what happens. It is just fresh ideas, we have got a good board and good ideas. We want to be a progressive, modern football club and play our part in the game to take the Scottish game forward.’ Robertson, meanwhile, insists the club are relaxed over contract talks with Mark Warburton. The Rangers boss has dismissed rumours of a rift with the board or a breakdown in discussions after Sportsmail revealed plans to improve the terms of his current contract, which has two years to run. Those talks show no immediate sign of reaching a conclusion but Robertson insisted: ‘Everything has been fairly low key. There’s been nothing for us to get too excited about to be honest. ‘As Mark said, he’s been on holiday. And if one guy deserved a holiday it’s been Mark because he’s put a fair shift in over the last 12 months. We were relaxed about that and we will take things forward. The reality of football is that there are always rumours and speculation. When you know what’s actually happening you take an element of it with a pinch of salt, although you don’t want the fans to get the wrong impression. ‘The situation is fluid. The boys are away to the United States on Monday so that will be them away for another 10 days. While there will be dialogue going on, that’s not the environment in which to have those sort of conversations. Everyone’s relaxed about it, you can see that Mark is relaxed about it. It’s not something we are getting concerned about.’ The Ibrox managing director has also promised more new faces following yesterday’s capture of Niko Kranjcar. With the club still in the market for a defender and a striker, Robertson added: ‘It’s not always easy to bring players in, a lot of factors have to come together and a lot of stars have to line up. We’re pleased with what we’ve done so far but there is more business to come.

So the "dynamite" letter from UEFA.....
It's all gone quiet intit.
Is that it ?
The club sent them a letter, they sent one to the club.
Job done, get on with the resumed rivalry.
