Have a feeling they will do right by us this time. All the stars are aligning for this bear.
I don't think that Dave King calling Celtic out on this would have done them many favours. I'm sure Dermot Desmond wouldn't want to be seen to have a dick like King get one over on him.

Greenslade's take on the Guardian issue would be interesting. Ironically by not running the advert they may well have made it a much bigger story. The Guardian is a financial basket case, its in no position to turn down advertising revenue.

The Guardian is one of the most pathetic, regressive rags out there.

I am inclined to agree with your opinion.

Let's hope it's correct.

The truth on this issue will leak out at some point. It can't be contained.

Cqn saying club will put out statement this week re r12
I can see them not bothering, after all everybody has bought season books now!
I'm afraid you'll be right.
I think we'll get fobbed off with a "tried our best" story. I don't think the club were ever behind this, in fact I think it's more likely that they have been all about managing events to make it go away.
I feel sorry for the Res 12 boys.
Dont. They have acted professionally and with integrity throughout in the interests of an honest game.

You know, the way all the other parties should have done.😉

I am hoping the exuberance of the Sevco directors at hampden during the semi final will have made Dermot take a non diplomatic stance and demand a pound of rotten zombie flesh

Occasional Substitute

It would surely be unforgivable if Celtic FC abandon the Requisitioners at this time, after the monumental effort they have put in to have this degree of cheating exposed. On a separate note, has there been any acknowledgment from EUFA to the dossier that has been submitted, which was the whole point of the action taken, anything ?

Absolutely, I've got nothing but admiration for the effort they've put into this.
What I meant was, I think the club could and should have done a lot of the work that they've had to do. And I still have my doubts about the club's intentions over the whole business. I just hope the Res 12 team are not going to be let down

Tonight's quiz question. Is Private Eye brave enough to carry the Resolution 12 ad that scared the guardian?

Alex Thomson showing an interest too! :arrr:

Thinking about the latest developments. When Regan spoke about this with someone from, I think, SFM, it was obvious Regan was trying to pass it off as Celtic fans winding up Sevco.
Is it possible that this is the angle they are pushing to papers that would potentially run the ad? Kind of pushing them to stay out of what is "just" a Celtic v "Rangers" tit for tat campaign?

Newspapers refusing to run the res 12 advert is really curious.
