My reading is that DD is not a happy bunny and it's going to need a change of attitude at CP to turn things around.

We need to be much more aggressive with the media, the government and the SFA to get the support back onside.

No more Mr Nice Guy. When I saw SFA replies to questions put by Res12 lawyer I thought them an insult. I'd have been visiting Hampden to tell them personally.
I have huge respect for you and all those who have refused to back down on Resolution 12 however I think you are wide of the mark on Desmond.

We are a minor minor concern for DD. As I've said before we have heard more impassioned words from him on the Coral Ladbrokes merger then we have heard on Sevco/EBT's/Res.12/SFA negligence/Lord Nimmo COMBINED.

I see precious little evidence that he cares anymore. He has all but handed over responsibility to his son Derry and even Derry is more concerned with setting up a Burger franchise in Dublin at the moment.
I don't know enough about DD to form an opinion but if it were me I'd be spitting blood at the way Celtic were treated.

However no two people are the same.

Do you think these changes could include the CEO?
You don't need to change personnel to change attitudes. In short I've no idea but I reckon PL needs a break from trying to please everyone.

A thankless task.

Ah, okay.

So, it's wrong that Lawwell is doing an interview with the Sun because he invited family members from the Hillsborough disaster to a game at Celtic Park?

Is that the issue?

Just says it all. Just take you and your fellow directors out the door and stop letting us down on and off the field. The disconnect becomes greater each day.

By that logic anyone that has ever done an inteview with the Sun at any point following the Hillsborough disaster is condoning the newspapers actions.

That would be every single major player at Celtic over the last thirty years, or every manager, or basically anyone of any significance in the British game that you can think of.

Unless of course this is a shiny new retro fitted rule just for Peter Lawwell? :ponder:

It's all in the timing, surely you can see that?

I'd be happy if Celtic grew a set and banned that rag anyway. Might even ban the other 1 as well.

Edit: Not as if he's doing it for the money which makes that choice even more :nono:

How much time is enough before it's okay exactly? I'm curious to know what arbitrary metric you're applying.

It's either okay to do interviews with the Sun or it isn't.

Less than a week after inviting families of Hillsborough to Celtic Park, probably the full week would have been fine.

Okay, under seven days equals bad. Over seven days equals good.

Glad we got that cleared up.
