Are folk really going to splash out £400-£600+ for a season ticket to get to see the new-huns twice ?
Only once is guaranteed.
Depends if we play at home first.

Appoint Davie Moyes, sign ONE 2 million quid player and be linked with four others (without signing them) and the SBs will be flying off the shelves.
huns are back, SBs will sell.
Think so too, sadly. That's Lawwell's bet, that us pounding them 4 times a year will make us forget we had our money stolen from us for 10 years.

Will be business as usual come August.

The only route available to re-visit this is a judicial review, and the club can't really touch that while the EBT issue is still alive.

The main function of the LNS stitch up was to close off any opportunity to re-open this whole can of worms and protect sevco/SFA. Its going to be hard to get round that.
Res 12 has nothing to do with EBTs, as I understand it.

It is about the granting of a UEFA licence by the SFA to a club which had an overdue and unpaid tax bill, contrary to UEFA's rules.

Re resolution 12. The fact that the SFA decision was not challenged at the time it was made means that the club is unlikely to pursue it now. Whether we like it or not Celtic FC does not wish to have ongoing confrontation with with another member of the SPFL. The fans may think nothing of this kind of acrimony between us and the huns, but the fact is that the SPFL survives on ongoing cooperation and goodwill amongst its members. Too much time has now passed and and any kind of action from Celtic at this point would IMO create friction for which Celtic would without doubt be blamed.
Resolution 12, again as I understand it, has nothing to do with Sevco.
It is an action against the SFA.

As a season ticket holder for over 20 years - Shareholder both original & 2nd issue I can assure PL that I will not set foot inside Celtic Park again if this matter is not taken to the highest authorities and dealt with properly.

Furhermore I will never attend any fixture run by the SFA (Internationals / Semi's or Finals or any domestic cup match run under their banner

Lawwell might think the loss of Sevco has cost the club £ 5m / season but to whitewash this disgrace and authenticate the charade will cost the club MUCH more in the long term I believe.

looks like lawwell does`nt want anything to do with it...as per its all about the money
Re Regan's now infamous retort of "NOTHING" when asked by the gentleman from TSFM what he'd do
if presented with incontrovertible proof that Rangers ( IL ) had outstanding social taxes past the cutoff
deadline for the issuing of a Euro licence.

I felt at the time that it was the reply of a man secure in the knowledge that Peter Lawwell and the board of CFC ( and
the chairmen and boards of all other clubs ) would also be doing " NOTHING " to rectify this blatant cheating.

I still feel this and my fury is growing.

If I felt the board had done all in its power re Res12 then I would be renewing. It's becoming clear that they haven't, won't and are in fact complicit in attempting to brush this under the carpet.

Won't be renewing and the urge to take a pair of scissors to my season card and post it to Lawwell is strong. Doubt he'd give an eff.

No.
I'm not so convinced folks
McSwain is a better accountant than Lawwell. I'd be more inclined to believe him ;)

I'm willing to bet that the huge seat covering tarpaulin we have at the moment will be there next season.

I just realised that Lawwell was in his first year as CEO when we played back-and-forth with Rivaldo for weeks before trying to get him to go on trial for our entire US tour. Of course Rivaldo told us to ram it and went on to have four successful seasons in Greece. The trend was set for Lawwell's tenure.

Lawwell Throwback Friday.

De La Pena went onto be a complete failure in La Liga aswell after having to prove himself with us. We made some crazy decisions back then when we had the chance of decent signings.
He won the Copa Del Rey, finished 5th in La Liga with a wee team, and was in the UEFA Cup final with said wee team.

Was injured a lot at the end, but to call him a failure is just lies.

Sorry my man, that was sarcasm. Didnt intenionally try to hook you there. The trials of De La Pena, Rivaldo and Dani were crazy ways of trying to sign players well above our level.

Doubt it mate.

Celtic need to wake up and smell the coffee. As the late and the great Bhob Mharley said:-

Get up stand up, stand up for your rights.....

You can fool some people sometime but you can't fool all the people all the time so now you've seen the light.....

Over to you PL/CFC

That's it? A Bob Marley quote? We're saved.
Do I detect a hint of sarcasm in your post sir, well actually a bucket load of it?!?

Sentiment still stands though, CFC need to sense the mood amongst fans over this or else there will be a mass Exodus....

Not just from us, from every person in the country. THAT'S what should be galvanising the effing press.

Forget Google, Amazon etc. What about this great unmentionable fact about the " fabric of the nation "
the " biggest institution in the country after the Church of Scotland, " the former Rangers FC, which the former first minister of the country, swindled out of circa £100 million, said should be looked upon leniently by HMRC. WTF.

In reply to marcat's post where a boycott of away games and games at Hampden would force the media to report
on the boycott and the reasons wherefore.

IMHO, that will never, ever happen. If such a boycott did take place, then it would be reported as CELTIC paranoia,
driven by bigotry, sour grapes, fear of a mighty all conquering Rangers * being " back " accompanied by the " let's all
move on " rhetoric so beloved of the liquidation deniers and PR lackeys of the SMSM.
They didn't report the biggest tax dodging scandal in this country, by calling out Murray and the Rangers'FC board,
or attempt any investigation whatsoever, including asking the SFA ( a public body, lest we forget ) what they knew about
said tax dodging by Rangers. EBT Ogilvie anyone ? :ffs:
We can forget the media getting involved in any factual reporting of this issue. Anyway the media, both here and in England have been furnished with all the details of Res12 by Auldheid et al. No takers as last heard.

I don't mean to be down on you marcat, and in any other society this WOULD be all over the press, just not here,
with the honourable exceptions of Mark Daly and Alex Thomson.
I don't have any strategy for achieving justice re Res 12 and other cheating issues, other than not renewing our 4
season tickets and stating why to the board.
Our hands are well and truly tied here guys unless the board acts.

The hun died in disgrace, and was liquidated.

This Sevco lot are a poor imitation, and not worth shelling out for. You and Lawwell think otherwise.

They are different.

Unless I've missed their apology for their years of systematic cheating, dishonesty and book-cooking, as well as their offer to settle all of their debts in full.

'Different scheidt, same flies' is neither here nor there. I have no interest in Sevco, and I want them to die like the club they shabbily imitate.

It'll be the same jersey, same club name, same disgusting fans... whether they're a new company/club/whatever or not isnt the issue as far as the game goes. I know its not a popular opinion on here but its how a lot of fans see it.

you want them to die, they want Celtic to die, nothings changed then.

I am sure there a few halfwits out there who dropped their season tickets when Rangers died, and who are counting the days till Sevco "return". I seriously doubt that they will outnumber the numbers of current season ticket holders who are going to chuck it if we are going in to next season without a new manager and serious investment in the team.

I am firmly in the latter camp. And of my two daughters who attend the games with me one has already asked me not to renew. The other is in two minds.

None of us are looking at this in terms of whether Sevco are there or not.

I am prepared to take my chances on losing my seat and will hold out until I see where we are headed.

If we replace Ronny and spend well then I will be delighted if I am wrong and I end up at that the back of the North Stand. But sadly I am confident I will have the choice of many, many seats if I do sign up late.

Its certainly a difficult situation for a lot of fans as it was last year. I wont be renewing mine, but for financial reasons. Difficult to know how many lost SBs were due to the huns dying, finances, pish product. But I think you'll see a pretty much full house for the league games versus the huns.
