This thread should be off its effing rocker about the resolution 12 issue and lack of action, but it has been slow, apart from the few good posts.

I'm not criticising anyone, as this is my only post on the subject, but, we just aren't being dealt with fairly. For me, this is a huge issue, I'm not a puppet or a fool, but I'm being regarded as one. I'm a sheep, cos I will continue to buy my st.

I'm a effing hypocrite of the mind. I want this regime to go to eff, but I want to support my team, yet I am feeding these effers, cos I will renew.
A huge game of poker coming up with season ticket renewal time in the next few months.

Will PL gamble on the cup semi enticing the fans back to see the resurrection of the duopoly?
Will he reveal he is looking at Res12 and EBT, giving the support just enough encouragement that he is looking after CFCs interests?

Will the fans raise the stakes and organise demos inside/outside the stadium?
Will there be any boycott of season tickets & club merchandise ie new strips etc?
Is there really a huge number of fans so against all the shampoo that's been swilling around for the past 4 years that they will take some form of action?

So who has the gonads, who will blink first, who holds the aces, next few months should reveal all.

Appoint Davie Moyes, sign ONE 2 million quid player and be linked with four others (without signing them) and the SBs will be flying off the shelves.

Re resolution 12. The fact that the SFA decision was not challenged at the time it was made means that the club is unlikely to pursue it now. Whether we like it or not Celtic FC does not wish to have ongoing confrontation with with another member of the SPFL. The fans may think nothing of this kind of acrimony between us and the huns, but the fact is that the SPFL survives on ongoing cooperation and goodwill amongst its members. Too much time has now passed and and any kind of action from Celtic at this point would IMO create friction for which Celtic would without doubt be blamed.

Which is all well and fine if Resolution 12's impact is restricted to Scotland and Scotland only.

Except it's not.

The failures within the SFA to hold dead co to the rules that ALL clubs seeking to play under UEFA's jurisdiction mean the SFA's failure affects

1) Those clubs dead co played and beat (granted that is not very many) but they have a case against UEFA and vicariously against the SFA

2) It affects Us, in so far as the next time a club Celtic play against doesn't play by the rules (see FC Sion or see Legia Warsaw) can argue "your association dosen't give two f*cks about the rules so why should we?"

I don't believe that. You may be right in so far as the 22,500 tickets could find a home but 5 years ago they would have done do twice over. I am entitled to one and so is my dad but we've had enough of being fleeced to watch a bent game. The way our club and the SFA is run makes me feel nauseous. I will sleep better at night knowing that I wont be contributing to either till that changes.

Much as I hate to say it I think any ST that aren't taken up again in protest will be replaced by folks buying just because there will be a huns team to play next season

Paraphrasing what someone said earlier, I feel the need to have my voice heard by not renewing but I also want to continue supporting my team and that will always be our weakness

We need to boycott away matches and Cup games at Hampden. That way our voices will be heard as the media have no option but to report on it. Media outlets outwith this country will pick up on it and the Scottish footballing authorities will be forced to respond.

I too have a ticket for the semi-final, but would be willing to bin it, if enough of the support united and boycotted the match. Why don't the CSA do something as they can easily get the supporters clubs together.

This is our last chance to do something because very shortly they are back, and the establishment will do all it can to get them back on top.

The only route available to re-visit this is a judicial review, and the club can't really touch that while the EBT issue is still alive.

The main function of the LNS stitch up was to close off any opportunity to re-open this whole can of worms and protect sevco/SFA. Its going to be hard to get round that.

Are folk really going to splash out £400-£600+ for a season ticket to get to see the new-huns twice ?
