An organised walkout wouldn't ever happen with the desired results. There's still folk out there who believe PL is doing a great job.
Why do you think that is the case?

He has a well cultivated media image and he has convinced many in the support that simply avoiding an old hun style collapse is world class business management.

He's an overpaid blowhard, who's pay is well in excess of a similar sized turn over company.

Because some people are stupid.

Sound bites and witty remarks about rangers are probably enough to pull the wool over some people's eyes.

PL is an absolute charlatan, but he's also a genius. He's managed expectations to the point whereby people are delighted to have Leigh Griffiths as our first choice striker while he walks away with a million pound a year.

Yep, someone I know rolls out the full set when discussing Lawwell

"He's great at what he does"
"We're lucky to have him"
"Could have went to Arsenal"
"Do you want us to end up like Rangers?" :ffs:
"His son is at City which can only be good for us"
I get your point ,but how many are like that . The vast majority?

At well run, succesful football clubs the most import person is the Manager. At Celtic its an accountant.

Says it all really

Only the one about going to Arsenal is valid, but even if all of these were true he is still vastly overpaid.

By the standards of football clubs outside the EPL, or comparably sized companies outside football, the smug bastard is siphoning an obscene amount of money out of the club.

I'd say a large portion are either like that, or in full 'I could be worse mode'.

A few of the older heads I used to go to games with reacted between surprised and annoyed when I told them I fully packed the SB in last season due to the current board. I was being spoiled, The 90's, and We might end up like the Rangers was mentioned more than once.

Sadly KDS is a very small minority. Lawwell has more than enough folk in 'be careful what you wish for' mode.

So after 2004 when we were told that things would change, no more big money transfers, the slow lane was the phrase used; Lawwell's salary has jumped about 400%

Would the Arsenal link have been circa '09? That could explain the increase?

I believe so.
However, there is no way a club in Celtic's financial stratum should be paying the same as a club with Arsenal's turnover.

So we've matched Arsenal wages for a CEO, all while minimising expenses for every other role

I also didn't realise where he started against where he is now, salary wise.

It's shameful and needs sorted immediately.

No wonder the carrot can laugh.

Proceeds of about 18k season tickets he's snaffled. Or 180,000 U12 ones.

I really wish we had people in our current support that would lead a campaign against our board. With social media it's very easy to organise. We have to do something

Do we have any "strong wordsmiths" who can come up with a suitable chant?
