It's the only way you are going to make a point . They have all the other angles covered . The old board rocked when everybody stood outside .

Yup, there's a clear inverse relationship between Lawwell's income and the product quality and customer satisfaction.

Not good.

I understand one of his sons encouraged him to stay in control, so the likelihood is that second generation Desmonds will want the kudos of effectively "owning" Celtic. It will be hard to get control if that is the case, which should be an enormous worry for all of us.
This son?

No better than the old board. Lawwell has his nose in the troff like so many in football. This is what scunners me about football/Celtic.

Is Lawwell getting a larger portion of the managers wage, as he is pretty much head of football operations and we now only have a head coach..?

If he is he should be bulleted for recruitment and team performance alone :arrr:

EDIT: I should add, that I realise he wont be bulleted, as, im sure someone on here said he has zero accountability as the role is not his 'on paper'.. So he is also a fly bastard into the bargain

No problem with the figures from 2008 and before, that's about what I'd expect a club of our size to be spending on CEO remuneration (although that is still a hell of a series of pay rises between 2004 and 2008).

How the eff the massive increases from 2009 are justified I don't know.

Saving us money on the Fletcher transfer started it all.

An organised walkout wouldn't ever happen with the desired results. There's still folk out there who believe PL is doing a great job.

Disgrace to be getting all that money to manage decline and lowered expectations. It's pure unadulterated Toryism. £1.65million in 2012 ffs.

To put it another way, about 2,500 season tickets go straight into his pocket. With the way things are going, with this manager at the helm and the signings that are being produced, I'd be surprised if there were more than 30,000 season ticket holders next year.

Thought it for a long time, but I think it's a chipping away process until the point where fans get pissed off, then Dermot will say, if you don't like it, I'll punt my shares and good luck with the next guy. I

Yep, someone I know rolls out the full set when discussing Lawwell

"He's great at what he does"
"We're lucky to have him"
"Could have went to Arsenal"
"Do you want us to end up like Rangers?" :ffs:
"His son is at City which can only be good for us"

What was that LTIP payment in 2012 for?

As you say, disgusting that when by any objective measure, everything from revenues, attendances, season tickets and the quality of the team is in decline, he simply continues to make more and more money. Nothing succeeds like failure I guess.

Increases from 2009 are quite frankly obscene. He should hang his head in shame
