FFS! It's that clown Bankier we should be hunting. :nono: Talk about giving your enemies a stick to beat you with!

"This personal campaign against Lord Livingston is criminally racist" - if that is the case then those responsible should be arrested

If it is not Ian Bankier should resign

Even then the way he has conflated two separate issues (and this presupposes he can support his statements) beggars belief to denigrate our supports view of the Tory Peers view on tax credits (and then to have the gall to invoke Brother Walfrid to support his assertions yet ignore the justifiable concerns on the ethos of the club in respect of poverty)
It's actually a point that this is a police matter in the first instance.Reporting it to the police and then dealing with the general point at the AGM would be the politically correct approach.

Is it outwith the question to suggest he could have been verbally abused at some point?
The actual quote from Bankier...

Quote:

"This personal campaign against Lord Livingston is criminally racist. He has been subjected to a torrent of base personal abuse in social media. Some of the messages are criminally abusive.

There's your lie. Right there.

I think if there had been a torrent of racist abuse across social media we might have noticed it and indeed, retrospectively, we could find it easily with a Google search. Just did not happen.

Poor from Bankier.
The SMSM would have lapped that up.
They'll get their headline now though.

Thanks Mr Chairman.

Well at least we know where we stand. They have closed ranks and turned on their own customers. Incredible. How low can they stoop?

I wouldn't speculate nor take much from a Google Search but Bankier is in a position now where they HAVE to produce evidence, he did use the word 'torrent', so he needs now to prove it.

I also think any sort of racist abuse, never mind a TORRENT of abuse would have been picked up by the press before today.

You know what - a while ago I listened to an interview with Michael Kelly who said the current regime had ripped the heart and soul from the club. I dismissed it as the bitter ramblings of an ego maniac. And while he is probably bitter AND an ego maniac - he is right on that point. What a shameful situation.
His board did a much better job of looking after the club? Not the best example to quote

I didn't say that though, did I? I'm not talking about the 'running' of the club - I'm talking about the complete abandonment of its core values.

Manager job is difficult. We can’t buy success so we need a manager who develops players. Ronny does that. We are on course #TicAGM

PL - Off pitch we made a loss but expected. We have no bank debt, over 40,000 season book holders and signed biggest strip deal #TicAGM

Peter Lawwell: this season we've stumbled in Europe but we must improve. But we have the chance of a treble #TicAGM

PL - Were it not for that decision we would have won treble. Disappointed in Europe this term. No-one more than Ronny & players #TicAGM

we cant buy success  thats exactly what we do
Total delusion from Lawwell. We do buy success (at least domestically). Deila doesn't develop players, in fact he's sent all our best youngsters apart from Tierney out on loan. And saying we would have won the treble but for one refereeing decision is the sort of arrogance we'd have absolutely slaughtered David Murray for saying back in the day, especially as the decision in question didn't even occur in the final.

An absolutely pathetic excuse for a board.

My effing Lord, how thick as eff must a chairman be to denigrate their source of income, ie us fans, who the club really belongs to.

I never knew Livingston was Jewish, but being a Tory Peer, he can eff off. For some reason I thought Lawwell was Jewish. Bankier and Lawwell, eff off as well and take your smarmy, we know better attitudes with you. None of you are as half intelligent as you think you are.

there's plenty to get tore into Lawwell and the Board for, but that ain't it. There are probably hundreds , if not thousands, of posts on here saying that one decision cost us the Treble.
