That stadium upgrade story came at just the right time
Is it going to be shaped like a giant squirrel?
Remember the days we would be linked with a signing in January just before the AGM.

Now they says its a 85k stadium. They ain't even trying anymore.

Will no doubt be a non event as usual tomorrow.

Oh come off it, a Lego style drawing is being used as a decent debate tool, nobody is seriously buying in to any immediate flights down South, it's just folk having a natter about future possibilities.

For a decent chat on KDS maybe Mikey, as far as I was aware (and apologies if I'm mistaken) the source for this 'story' was asking if anyone wanted a game of FIFA an hour after posting on twitter.

Whether the Board get the rough ride they deserve tomorrow is another matter but I don't see this minor sideshow helping them in any way. They have plenty on their plate and hopefully we'll hear some explanations on more pressing matters though like you I wont be holding my breath.

I've only seen it coming from one feed and some of the lads are saying it's an old image too. I may have picked that info up wrong, if so that's my bad.

If it is really an effort to deflect it's probably the most desperate since we nicked Frank from Partick's clutches

Could someone tomorrow not just ask if there's any plans to upgrade the stadium, apart from safe standing, and put it completely to bed ?

Leaving plenty of time to hassle them about other issues.

Have you ever been to a meeting with more than 3 people at it?
I'm afraid it just doesn't work that way
Give people a forum and they'll go off on tangents (just look at some of the threads on here)(and before anybody moans I'll admit I'm as guilty as anyone for it)

I'd be very surprised to see the board getting a hard time tomorrow. Whilst there is clearly (quite rightly) disgruntled fans on here, I'm not sure it extends to the entire support and the board always seem to have a special way of handling these things so that they are not asked awkward questions or there is simply no-one in attendance who is asking them.

They won't - it'll be full of the main stand brigade, then you'll get one fella with the right point, but be too raging to get it across without shouting and stuttering, then Pedro will laugh and make his hun joke, tell us we'll spend money (Look at the €7m we spent on Simunovic!) we're not to worry, and everything's rosy af.

In fact yes but I've never been to an AGM at celtic or anything like the size.

I'm just not entirely clear how that zoomer posting the thing about stadium expansion on twitter should protect the board from scrutiny tomorrow. If the mood on here's anything to go by there will be a fair few folk there looking for answers on the core strategy.

For those who have been, what is the format ?

I'm imaging something along the lines of question time but with more waffle from the panel.

More or less ^^^^

You either get the rocket who stands up and takes five minutes to pronounce his Celtic Credentials as in he was going in 19 Canteen and doesn't have a valid point to make - Board laps it up as easy meat.

You get a Guy who makes valid points but gets frustrated and begins to lose it and the Board say "We don't have to take that sort of attitude".

The Celtic Trust will have a go to no avail as DD's shareholding outweighs everything.

Board are unlikely to be troubled at anything that comes at them tomorrow.

Possibly Deila will if they put him up above the parapet? :hmmm:

That was actually a rhetorical question, wasn't trying to be smart

The AGM will be the usual main stand brigade already primed with questions and a few regular supporters who won't be able to get a word in because of the inane questions
Someone will mention the stadium upgrade nonsense and their theory behind why it might be happening, PL will be cryptic about it and the questions around the reason for it will then start to fly
Take a look at the thread on the stadium on here and you'll see how quickly people will go off topic. Tomorrow will be the real life version of this
I'm not having a go here because I know there will be fans there who want to ask the questions we all want the answers to but they'll never get the chance
Take any AGM over the last few years at random, have a wee read at the minutes and you'll get a flavour of what I'm meaning

PL will then make a wee joke about the huns and it'll be class dismissed

As we know AGM`s are not the most effective place for fans to make owners or boards aware of their views or frustrations ,shareholder holdings/votes are stacked in the boards favour, they can pursue any strategy they like, the most effective way is to hit them where it hurts them most, in the pocket via the turnstyles, merchandise, advertising, anything that gives them money, thats when they`l take note but good luck to the ordinary fans tomorrow i hope they`l come out satisfied with what they`ve heard.
