Tonight one Lord Livingston of Parkhead voted for this tory government's despicable tax credits policy.

Brother Walfrid and all those who founded our club for the benefit of the impoverished would be turning in their graves.

I couldn't believe that story when I saw it. Straight out of the moonbeams book of feeding a story to journalist to report verbatim, in the immediate aftermath of (yet another) disastrous result in Europe.

When people ask what influence Peter Lawwell's role at the likes of the SFA and the ECA can bring to Celtic - that's pretty much your answer. Nothing, apart from moonbeam stories, meant to deflect. Coming only weeks after Desmond's "we're going to join the EPL one day" nonsense.

They have to go. They have to get to eff.

Hmmm, hard to know the founding fathers politics outside of the charity part which tells us nothing really about their personal politics.
The Catholic Church of 1888 was hardly on the left.
And Parnell style Home Rule Irish Nationalism was hardly Connollyite.

If proof was ever needed, that DD only uses Celtic as a vehicle for his own ambition.
When he populates Celtic with lords and their devious ilk.
question is. how do we get rid?

It's why the problems on the field and with the manager are just the tip of the iceberg. Sad to have these people at the club. :(

You have him all wrong.

Just you wait until next week when he and his pals on the board tell the View about how the wee cheque they have giving to charity will help the non-privileged.

Huge generalization here but typical of how our board regard fans.

I don't see how folk can be in the least bit surprised by this. Desmond has handed money over to the Conservatives in the past.

Other than Brian Wilson, I would be surprised if every other director hadn't of voted Conservative last May.

Done. Doubt it'll do much though.

I'd be effing delighted if we just got shot of every carrot inside that boardroom and started from scratch. They're rapidly killing my passion for this club.

You and thousands of others.

Sickens me how comfortable we should be right now in dominating scottish football enjoying some glory years yet we find
ourselves scraping around trying to put a bang average side together just to get the job done and make money.

Also depresses me turning up every week and seeing thousands of empty seats around me. :nono:

So Desmond helped the Tories in the past? Do we know if PL et all did vote or support Tories? There comes a point when enough is enough and if so I am not returning until these repugnant people are gone. I will not indirectly fund the Tory party or their ilk.
