Morgan should get the YP IMO. Tierney's been run in the ground and has been patchy the last few months.

Morelos WTF.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deepWho gets your vote? Celtic and Rangers stars among nominees for PFA awards
Alasdair Mackenzie @aksmackenzie

THE PFA Premiership Player and Young Player of the Year nominees have been confirmed.
Champions elect Celtic have received the most nominations, with captain Scott Brown and winger James Forrest in the running for Player of the Year.
They will be up against Kilmarnock striker Kris Boyd and Hibernian midfielder John McGinn for the main award.

Hoops left-back Kieran Tierney features on the shortlist for Young Player of the Year alongside Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna and St Mirren winger Lewis Morgan.

Morelos? Suppose a token hun had to be shoehorned in someway.
He’s second top scorer, only 21 and it’s his first season in the league. It’s hardly ridiculous is it?
He’s scored 3 goals against top 6 opposition this season, same as Alex Schalk/Kyle Lafferty and less than his teammates Windass and Tavernier.

Had a good spell earlier in the season. Since New Year he's scored 6, 2 of those were against Ayr and only 1 was against a top 6 side which was Aberdeen. His most notable involvement in the past month has been missing sitters against us. Surely he's not one of the 4 best young players in the league this season.

Just one year left on his Grasshoppers contract and has not held back in criticising them in the press. Hibs want him permanently but apparantly Grasshoppers want to bring him back. Would be brilliant for Lenny and Hibs if they could keep him, Swiss U21 international and 9 goals in 14 starts is a great record for a Hibs striker

Hope they don't. Their football is genuinely unlike anything I've seen, even in Scotland, for quite some time. Three straight red challenges not punished with a red in the two games. Rip it long to the big man and win the second balls.

Watched both legs of their semi final against Dundee United. I'll admit there is a good story in there about potentially back to back promotions. But it's stone age stuff on the park, and it is an awful, awful pitch. At least Firhill is much improved in that regard these days.

What was evident from the second leg last Friday that there were a good number of additional Livi "fans" to see them potentially beat Dundee United. It became clear that plenty were in fact Huns hoping to see United get beat. This was evident when the mics picked up several shouts of 'Super Ally'.

If you think Thistle are hammer throwers I guess you've not watched Livingston much?

I'll be there on Sunday and hope Thistle stay up. Another easy away game travel.

Good numbers too.

I see St Mirren are giving us two stands next season, although, I think it only amounts to 3.5k

Not a lot but Livingston with their kick everything that moves tactics would be no improvement.

Thistle should probably win this, although one thing nags at me.

It would be thoroughly in keeping with the SFA's reverse Midas touch for their new Chief Executive to preside over his current club's relegation, virtually the last thing he does before taking up his new job.

Livi v Hamilton as a potential top flight fixture next season. Grim.
