My Dad wanted to go to the Stranraer game today, so we tagged along. Pretty good game, Stranraer down 2-0 at half time to Dumbarton, came back to win 3-2, winner an overhead kick in injury time.

english premiership using the magic foam stuff from the start of this season.

Have to ask why the feck are we not? One of the best changes in the game by far so why isn't it being used here?

It's obviously so Celtic players can move free kicks to where they want to play them from. Shhh!

Alan Stubbs was down watching the Derby / Rangers game.

Hope he saw how to get a win over them and leave McCoist floundering at the first hurdle.

Living in the shadow of the EPL and in a unique situation where as part of the UK (at least at the moment) we don't have to pay for the broadcasting rights we are really being taken over by the money making English league's. We need to change how we market our leagues. Surely there are others out there who is sick to death of watching the prima donnas of the EPL we need to market our leagues as the opposite of this football for people who love football not necessarily footballing celebrities! Step away from the Sky deals and be available on the BBC or ITV so we are more accessible and reduce season tickets and make tickets for matches easily accessible to the ordinary fan (I think in Germany they can be bought at a cash machine and at supermarkets). We as a nation need to focus on development of players. Become known as a club and league where first steps in a career can be made.

If they are organised they will cause the huns problems.

They don't need huge amounts of talent to compete with McCoist's inept teams - as shown over the last 2 years - however, to compete over the course of a season they will need good players.

I think they'll beat the huns a few times this coming year, whether or not they are up for winning the league is something else.

My money is on hearts.

It will need to be discussed by at least 25 masonic SFA committees before it sees the light of day. Season 2020/21, maybe?

I'm very surprised stubbs hasn't enquired about taking matt kennedy on loan from everton - knows him from his time as u21 coach - and unlikely that he'll see much 1st team football this season unless he goes out on loan again. As a young scot he might be willing to play in the spfl also.
