Noticed on Live Score last night that Hibernians were playing (and getting beat). I assume this isnt Hibs. From memory there is some lithuanian team isnt there?

Colt - sounds like a name a hun would call their kid.
Hibernians are from Malta I believe.

A misspent childhood playing Championship Manager leads me to believe they are Maltese

They have a chance against Groningen I feel. Apply what they did to beating us.
True.

I also happen to think St Johnstone have a good chance against Luzern.

Both will need to sit deep, keep it tight and hit on the counter but I don't think that's beyond either side.

Edit: FWIW, should St Johnstone go through against Luzern and if all other matches go according to their coefficients, their third round opponents would be one of the following...:

- HNK Rijeka (CRO)
- Asteras Tripolis FC (GRE)
- Brondby IF (DEN)
- FC Zorya Luhansk (UKR)
- FK Mlada Boleslav (CZE)
- AIK Solna (SWE)
- PFC Litex Lovech (BUL)
- Hapoel Kiryat Shmona FC (ISR)
- Neftci PFK (AZE)
- FK Ekranas (LTU)
- FC Petrolul Ploiesti (ROU)
- FC Astra Giurgiu (ROU)
- Kardemir Karabukspor (TUR)
- FK Vojvodina (SRB)
- FC Dinamo Minsk (BLR)
- SV Grodig (AUT)
- SKN St Polten (AUT)
- FC Zestafoni (GEO)
- FH Hafnarfjordur (ISL)
- Ruch Chorzow (POL)
- IFK Goteborg (SWE)
- FK Zeljeznicar (BIH)
- FK Sarajevo (BIH)
- FC Shakhter Karagandy (KAZ)
- Hapoel Beer Sheva FC (ISR)
- FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk (BLR
- Ermis Aradippou FC (CYP)

Obviously they can't get the winner of the Groningen v Aberdeen match or Motherwell, both of whom will be unseeded.

Aberdeen's reward for knocking out Groningen could be a tie against Lyon, Real Sociedad, Hull, Mainz, Torino, Dinamo Moscow, CFR Cluj, Club Brugge, Viktoria Plzen or Hapoel Tel-Aviv, among others.

Edit: eejit, they can't be drawn against PSV for the same reason they can't get St Johnstone

Personally don't think there is much wrong with the actual top other than the horrific sponsor logo daubed on the front like treacle. Not much Nike can do about that. Subtle.

Would be delighted to be proven wrong but we all know Aberdeen will collapse in the next qualifying round just like every other deadbeat Scottish football team over the last few years.

Can't wait to see Motherwell ship three goals in the first eight minutes against whoever they're playing.

Most Nike kits are just that except if you're a big club who sell enough to justify your own design.

On paper, a decent signing. But so often these players that have gone South too soon in their careers for big money, rarely ever catch the same drive or motivation to recapture once they - inevitably - fail, and then return.

Aberdeen have potentially quite a strong group of attacking players. Would be nice if they could give us a challenge for half a season.
