Tbf a few teams in Scotland getting Artificial Pitches is good for us for CL Qualifier Preparation Imo as there are always a few we could draw with them :)

An artificial surface is the way forward for most Scottish clubs. Yes, a well maintained grass pitch is ideal, but that's not the reality in Scotland. I would much rather see us play on a high quality artificial pitch than the sand pits and bogs we're occasionally subjected to.

As it is, it seems ICT are considering installing one too.

Agree with this. Artificial turf favours a quick passing game so it should be right up our alley and can only help Celtic become even more dominant. It's the bogs we play on in winter that brings us down to the opposition level and that's why we often struggle to win by a single goal or even worse away from home.

Dundee sign Simon Ferry. Hartley's been pretty busy in the transfer market.

We're defo not.

There's only one flag day we'll be involved in and it won't be at Dens.

It's possible we might be. Commonwealth games aftermath and all that. Polis might want our first home game pushed back a bit.

Yeah, 3rd round CL qualifier second leg is on 5 or 6 August and the club have confirmed we'll be at Murrayfield whether home or away first.

I guess it comes down to whether the stadium can be ready in time for 9 August for opening day.

Of course we would be at home, normally

But I think there is some doubt as to the stadium being available for the start of the League campaign

In fact I think its already been documented that we will be away first

I think the problem is the quality varies. There are a shed load of companies out there doing this now and all are looking to make money out of it, whether their product is good or not.

The one we played on in Sweden last year was horrific. I remember Lennon suggesting there was a big dip in the middle of the pitch.

Aberdeen:

Russell Anderson, Barry Robson , Nicky Low all sign deals to Summer 15.
Josh Magennis, Scott Vernon and Nicky Weaver all given free transfers.

2 strikers out = kenny miller in?? :hmmm:
Hearing vernon and Simon ferry are going to Dundee. I reckon with a few good signings they will stay up.
Ferry signed today, over 2 weeks early with it here
