Looking forward to Hearts [under21s]v Cowdenbeath and Livinstone v Hibs being shown live on Alba ,exciting
doesn't come close.

Yeah, the Championship might be interesting because there are some big names down there but in reality, who the eff really wants to watch that pish outside of those club’s own fans? With so much live football being shown over the weekend then why would anyone watch first division Scottish football over Bundesliga, La Liga, etc. I just don’t see the attraction at all.

Maybe it’s just me that doesn’t get the big appeal of it all (fair enough if it is) but the idea of watching Ally’s Sevco team play against that Hib’s team or the Hearts Under 21s just doesn’t excite me. I’d rather watch Motherwell vs Aberdeen to be honest

If the huns struggle then I’m sure it will be good for a laugh, but outside of that I genuinely can’t see me watching any of these games in the same way I’ve not watched any of the Div 2/3 games that’ve been on in the last 2 years (barring games on in the background of the pub). The only sevco games I’ve had an interest in were later rounds of the cup, but league games? Nah, I’d rather watch better teams than that.

I get why some might find the Championship interesting but do you guys really want to sit back and watch it?
I'd rather a match where I'm wanting a team to win. Any match where I have an interest, either a fiver on one team, a personal want for one to win or lose, implications for Celtic in the league or CL or cups is always more appealing than a match that may have good football and a good goal or two.

If Hearts v Raith played and the result of that dictated Rangers being promoted or not, I'd much rather watch it over El Classico.

That Championship next season might just have 2 out of the three so called big names in it. If Sevco even lasts that long

I only just noticed that Hibs got relegated. I was away when the 2nd leg of the play-off was on but I thought that after winning the first leg 2-0 away that even Hibs couldn't blow that. How wrong was I?

Apparently Hibs are offering all their young players like Sam Stanton for a pittance due to some clause in their contracts. How have they ended up in a worse state than Hearts?

because everyone was looking at Hearts and weren't really giving much thought to how bad Hibs were getting until your demise was confirmed.

What is the prize in the Championship that they're all playing for?

It's certainly not another season in the World's Most Interesting Fascinating Scintillating Second Tier League...
Its the honour of being the 13th best team in Scotland they're playing for

Any idea how many they sold last season? 12k should be their target if not more I'd guess.

Good sponsorship deal by the looks of it.

I think our fans actually bang on about this strong huns pish more than the huns actually do.

Hope Aberdeen can become a real force again. Thought they were a wee bit overrated last season but they still had a strong season and if they can build on it they should be able to seal their place as the second best in the country for years to come.

Hello :)

I think we went through 9,000 season ticket sales during the festive period last year when the half STs were available and with priority for the League Cup semi at the start of February going to ST holders i believe we ended with about 9,300.

If we can improve on last season's final figure before a ball is kicked i think everyone at AB24 would be quite happy with themselves.

At the start of last season the Daily Record reported them as having sold approx 7000 season tickets so they are well up on that it appears.
