When I was a little younger I remember we sang "bring on the Hearts, the Hibs and Rangers". Might be a wee problem with that next season.

I wanted Hibs to go down.

Hibs play terrible football. Both Fenlon and Butcher have used the most destructive, ugly style imaginable. For Hamilton to go to Easter Road and pass the ball while Hibs' only idea was lumping it into the channels was a disgrace.

When Malmo pumped Hibs, their only answer was to to sign the likes of Michael Nelson because they thought they needed to be more physical. When Fenlon failed, their only answer was to appoint Butcher and become even more brutal.

For too long have teams in Scotland been coached to distrust possession and to win by endeavor alone. This Hibs team shows what happens when you coach all the football out of a team, and adopt a signing-policy that rejects the idea that every team needs creativity. Teams like Hibs deserve to be relegated and the division is better without them.

Hamilton take a progressive approach. They have an artificial surface because they want to be able to pass the ball on the deck. They develop youth try to entertain. So do Partick Thistle and St Mirren. We need these teams to succeed in Scotland to prove that it can be done.

Hibs will be back, and hopefully they'll have learned that sabotaging your team's ability to play football in pursuit of a more rugged style is as counter-productive as it is boring to watch.

Look if you believe that Scottish football is guff then there is nothing I will say that will change your mind.

So you think it is guff and heading towards League of Ireland status, fine. I think that is nonsense.
Even at League One level, there are some utterly atrocious teams.

I'd reckon most of the top 6 would whipe the floor with them.

So next season we have more or less 6 teams from the South West and 6 from
the North East ,perfect for Winter time 2 mini leagues without the travel .

im glad Hibs went down - for Butcher, but especially for that wee rat Fenlon, "billy" as he is affectionately know by the fleggers over here
im glad Hearts went down, for them being minis but trying their best to outdo their dead cousins
im glad Sevco have to face both of them next year, ha ha ha ha ha - Hearts have got themselves together, Hibs should be okay as they play nothing but championship players

if sevco muddle on, the journey might have stopped for a few years yet

If Hibs and their fans had spent less time focusing on our problems, gloating at Hearts and their impending doom, and more time on their own rotten organisation, maybe they would have stayed up.

Maybe if their fans had spent more time supporting the team and less time emailing liquidators in Lithuania trying to get us wound up, they would have managed to put more of a fight up.

Perhaps if they'd turned up to every game to support the players, not just games where they were 'going to relegate Hearts' and couldn't even do that. Cuffed four times in one season by the 'worst Hearts side in history' with the shining lights of Dale Carrick, Billy King and Ryan - released by a First Division Side - Stevenson banging the goals in past them.

What do they have now? The second highest debt in the country and a downward spiral that began when we effed them 5-1 in the biggest match of their lives.

I enjoyed today. Pr*cks.

I go to watch Celtic not who we're playing so whoever are in the Scottish premiership I don't have too much concern for. Hamilton don't have as much support as hibs but they're a better team so I will see a slightly better team when they play us than I would if hibs were playing us.

Hamilton passed them off the park at times and looked a decent wee side. Better team won, and they will provide better entertainment than a Butcher-rebuilt team of blood and snotters, League 1 and 2 failures.

I remember the last time we played Hamilton in the SPL at Celtic Park. I was in the LL stand close to the away support. I counted them - 83.
Yep.
I wonder if all those laughing at Hibs, and our league, going down the drain, pay any attention to this.
No disrespect to Hamilton and their on-field efforts, but today was not good for us.
Are you suggesting gerrymandering of the leagues?

New rules, teams with more than 15,000 fans cannot be relegated?
