Aberdeen:

Russell Anderson, Barry Robson , Nicky Low all sign deals to Summer 15.
Josh Magennis, Scott Vernon and Nicky Weaver all given free transfers.

2 strikers out = kenny miller in?? :hmmm:
Hearing vernon and Simon ferry are going to Dundee. I reckon with a few good signings they will stay up.
If Hartley does well and Lennon stays a couple more years then I wouldn't mind seeing him in charge of us.

Done well at Alloa, and Dundee so far, let's see how he gets on full time in the spl

Don't think he'd do any worse than Jackie Mac and plenty of people would be happy to see him.

If he does well over the next couple of seasons then yes, he might be under consideration, but it's way too early in his managerial career to speculate on his suitability right now.

As I said in my previous post, if we were to hang on to Lennon for a couple of years then providing he does as wel at Dundee as he has so far I would think he'd be in the running. Definitely suggesting him just now if Lennon was to leave.

Kilmarnock won the 2011/12 season league cup, before the liquidation.
... but after they entered administration, which is when the doom-mongering began.

Personally I wouldn't have "jackie mac" anywhere near the Celtic job almost as insane as saying Paul Hartley

Mowbray indeed, like-able big fella with great footballing philosophies but a Rafael of a manager sadly.

Hartley's had back to back promotion over the last three years at his clubs.

Is that not as good as you can do?

His record is far superior to Lennon's before he got the Celtic job.

So is Steven Pressleys.

Maybe we should go for a GMB/BMF dream team.

I had a hard enough time accepting Hartley as a Celtic player never mind a manager. Might as well bring in Barry Robson as his assistant so that they're dig can make up for their lack of managerial know how.

Neil had zero managerial experience when he took on the post, but his intelligence, character on the field and insight shown in interview indicated to me instantly he deserved the chance. Tony had plenty of managerial know how when awarded the post, but I was the only KDSer vehemently opposed to his appointment (hoping in vain someone of influence at Celtic would read and rethink) because I recognise some things in football managers, and realised his strengths lie in other areas.

Jackie MacNamara and Paul Hartley possess intelligence, morality and steely determination in spades. So whatever additional knowledge they gather in experience will add to those strong foundations. Both are excellent prospects should Neil decide to take on a new challenge, and all three respond to the kind of chip such dismissive remarks make on their shoulders. ;)
