I'd love to know what the tv audience for Scottish football on tv is.

The tv contract shouldn't be compared to the EPL because in terms of audience we are the ugly sister, how does it compare to the football league tv contract?
On par with or usually better than the (£152m that BT Sport paid for the rights) Aviva Premier League Rugby.
No it isn't! Not even close!

Take into consideration that the Rugby has an exclusive deal with BT whereas SPFL has a split deal between Sky/BT. It costs more to follow Celtic on TV than it would with a Rugby team.

The Sevco vs Dundee Utd on Sky Sports got 237k viewers (check BARB) go find an Aviva PL Rugby game with those type of numbers.

Is it not reasonable to believe that if the SPFL and the SFA were to strike and exclusivity deal with a single broadcaster that viewing ratings would increase because fans would be able to follow their team with just one subscription?

Hibs spent £200,000 on James Collins. Iosa Criost.

You'd think that spending that money on free transfers would be more beneficial?

You're comparing how many viewers Scottish Football gets on Sky to how many viewers rugby gets on BT (with far less subscribers)? That's a fairly stupid argument.

The rugby regularly gets BT about 3 times as many viewers as Scottish football does.

Last months ICT v Aberdeen game on BT Sport got less viewers than the Liverpool Ladies v Man City Ladies they showed the night before

Our player budget for the season was allegedly £800,000. They spent a quarter of our budget on him.

We won 3 more points than them.

HOW HAVE THEY HAD A WORSE SEASON THAN US? WE ALMOST DIED.
