So Mrs Budge has officially taken the reins and the Foundation of Hearts are providing an immediate cash injection of £1m which should allow us to get some of our young players on new deals for next season. Smashing.

Questions hsould be asked of the SPFL as to why the games were scheduled for 12:15 when no agreement to televise them had been reached. Could easily be at 3pm tomorrow.

Seems petty by Hibs, and if they've reneged on an agreement they should be hammered, but they're within their rights to say no by the looks of things.

Utterly ridiculous from Hibs. The first time in years that anyone has wanted to see a game from Easter Road on telly!

I apologize for harping (no pun intended) on about the Hibs, but their supporters should feel ashamed if they don't pack out the place tomorrow. They are quick enough to buy tickets for cup finals but won't show up when their team needs them. Of all the clubs in the SPL, Hibs could have used the demise of Rangers to their advantage. But they have squandered that.

I'm actually with Hibs on this. BT pay a derisory amount of money to show Scottish football. They should be held strictly to the contract that they signed unless they pay more money.

BTSport must be fuming. Their coverage, couple of dodgy commentators aside (Looking at you, McAllister) has been pretty good, prefer it over the Sky coverage.

BT Sport were advertising the Aberdeen v Motherwell game the other night and they said they'd have a game on Saturday, but didn't give any details which I thought was very odd.

I've seen a Hibs programme cover for tomorrow that has a St. Johnstone badge instead of a Kilmarnock badge...

When the post split games were announced the official SPFL listings showed the games to be shown live and had the three final day bottom six games marked with "one game to be selected by BT for live transmission"

I assumed that the contract allowed them a free choice no matter whether that breached the other rules which limit the number of home games that can be shown

If it doesn't then what is the point of the deal .... can you imagine US networks not showing what are effectively playoff matches??

Absolute shambles that they can't show a crucial game like that on the TV. Never mind the US, can you imagine the EPL having a straight relegation shootout and not having it on the TV surrounded by carnival. Scottish football really doesn't help itself sometimes.

One thing that might have been missed is it's officially the 15 point deduction that relegated Hearts. Neither Killie nor Hibs can both accumulate more points than us, so we wouldn't have finished last. Small comfort.

I'd end myself if we accumulated more points than Hibs with 'the worst Hearts team ever'.
Too be honest, I'm quite glad you'll be less than 15 points behind. Its means the punishment actually meant something.
I think it was the double whammy of the deduction and the signing ban. Still, it was intended to relegate us and that's what it did so no complaints. Just glad we made it competitive.
Hearts were woeful at the beginning of the season. I think they only started accumulating decent points when relegation was almost certain. Not sure they would have accumulated the same points if the pressure had been there.

Totally agree.

Don't see the problem with Hibs telling BT to go eff themselves.

Basically looks like Hibs have decided they'll make more out of an at the gate attendance than they would from any TV money. Most Hibees I know think they wont do it tomorrow so maybe they should have taken the TV money.
