Hibs seem to be the popular choice, agree its the best day oot / stadium although on the handful of times I have been to easter road we have either drew or got beat :(

Think they looked doomed myself and destined for the "play off"

Falkirk for me.....but only because I live there and it gives me a lazy option for an away game

Nothing wrong with that, I'm from Dundee so was delighted to see Dundee get promoted gives me at least 4 "away" games on my doorstep throw in st johnstone and it takes it up to 6 or 7

Hibs have been relegated before right? was it big feck who got them promoted?

They are both good away days but really a club of hibs "size" should be no place near the drop zone. Butcher obviously thought his hibs team was safe and started going on about what players were no use and that they would be leaving only for him to go back to said players and ask them to do a turn for him. Terrible man management.

By looking at the league table if hibs get a win on Saturday it really puts any team from 7-11 in the play off space correct?

I presume the play off is a 2 leg game?

Only Hibs or Kilmarnock can go into the play off now. It is a two legged game against the winner of the QotS/Falkirk v Hamilton play off.

Looking at the league table again I see my mistake :comp:

If it was a choice between QotS , Falkirk, Hamilton , Hibs or Killie - who would we all like to see in the SPFL?

My late father was a Hibs supporter so Hibs are my choice.

Plus as Edinburgh is only 51 miles away from where I stay it's like a home game for me :)

You can bet your right bollock that if the English system gets the Premiership 'B' teams in the league set up, the Scottish Authorities will take a more serious look at it.

We tend to just blindly follow whatever they do anyway.

We were the Premier Division before they went to Premier League.

But our copying of them afterwards has been ridiculous.

Would be pretty odd to have a Scottish top tier not containing Hearts, Hibs, or Rangers.

I guess we certainly won't be moved now...

One thing that might have been missed is it's officially the 15 point deduction that relegated Hearts. Neither Killie nor Hibs can both accumulate more points than us, so we wouldn't have finished last. Small comfort.

I'd end myself if we accumulated more points than Hibs with 'the worst Hearts team ever'.

None of them, they are all huns.

Seriously, I would prefer Hibs to stay in the SPL. Would like the Ayrshire huns to tumble down.

I was talking to a mad Jambo on holiday here last weekend - he has bet a Grand at 3/1 on Hibs to finish 11th, above Hearts - he was close to a heart attack literally last weekend , a bit more confident now !!
Hope Hibs win on Saturday even more now.
I would prefer Killie to go down , forever!

I'd like Killie to go down...

If Hibs did go down though, imagine you could go back to 2011 and inform your family and friends who are Celtic supporters that in 3 years time in the premier league there would be no Hearts or Hibs, and that the huns would have an imitation team in the division below that were about to go bust after the real huns went bust in 2012!!

They'd be genuinely worried for your mental health and would probably try to have you locked up  (It's been quite an incredible few years and I'm enjoying every minute of it).

Too be honest, I'm quite glad you'll be less than 15 points behind. Its means the punishment actually meant something.

I think it was the double whammy of the deduction and the signing ban. Still, it was intended to relegate us and that's what it did so no complaints. Just glad we made it competitive.

There are rumblings that Hibs are going to sack Butcher if they are relegated & whilst so far it's been a disastrous appointment, I hope they don't.

We always hear that it's cheaper to sack the manager than the players, well so far that's Collins, Paatelainen, Caldwerood, Hughes with Butcher possibly on the way in about 5 years.

Why not let him bin every single one of them & build a proper club without the cancer that's been allowed to live there for years?
