Definitely going to be a more interesting league than the top flight.
As someone else pointed out, surely the same could be said of this season though? The title race was, well, an actual title race in the Championship. The arrival of a a large bunch of pretty unpleasant supporters and some more crap players isn't going to make it suddenly a great league.

I don't think anyone is saying it is going to be great.

It will be interesting.

I will be interested in it anyway, more than i normally would and the majority of folk on here are lying if they are saying they won't be keeping a closer eye on it next season than this.
Personally I've taken more notice in the Scottish Championship this season than I have in years. Partly because I wanted Dundee to emerge as winners (despite their well known iffy leanings they are a better prospect in the Premiership than Hamilton's 500 strong Tartan Blanket Club). Partly because it was a genuinely interesting title race that didn't seem to stop throwing up a new twist every other week. Not that you would have known about it if you relied on the SPFL's so called media "partners" for coverage.

In the likely event of another 30+ point title win for a certain team next season I'll likely not be the only one who has absolutely no interest whatsoever. Not even when Sky, BT Sport and the BBC are likely to be insistent that I do, given their collective foamies about the prospect of it.

apart from the destination of the Championship Title, the top League has been a cracker this season, with the fight for European places going to the wire, and the play-off place battle still not settled.
I just don't have more than a mild passing interest in that, couldn't even be bothered watching the Aberdeen v Utd game last night.

Just a pity Thistle aren't there as they would have been a handy vehicle to watch some games up close and dangerous.

There'll be more comedy to be had as sevco will not steamroll the league as they did this season which will generate a lot of interest from here as well as how many 'honest mistakes' will be handed out to them in their times of need.

If Hibs were to go down it's bad news for sevco so don't understand why these muppets want that to happen?
It will see the return of the phoney crowd wars.

Thistle now safe.

Killie or Hibs for the play off.

Hibs demise in the last few months has been out of control. I can't see them getting the win they need.

The issue with the 'fight for European places' is that they'll all be humped out by mid August anyway so who cares?

Delighted to see the Jags are safe. 7th despite having won 8 games all season

They've only lost 15 though...that's at least three fewer than any other bottom six team

Gutted we lost tonight. Don't know what happened at half-time but for some reason the players just seemed a bit tired...

Hibs or Killie for the playoffs.

Both great away trips, but to be honest wont be sad to see either of them go down.

I dont understand how clubs can consistently eff things up. Hibs have gone through so many managers and its just failure after failure, yet other clubs can change manager and still seem to get better.

Look at St Johnstone, they've gone through Coyle, McInnes, Lomas and now Wright while barely missing a step. They've taken Wotherspoon from Hibs who looked a total diddy, and he now looks OK, conversely Liam Craig has gone from being quite good to a total diddy at Hibs.

Bizarre.

Word from a St Mirren fan in here is Danny Lennon's getting his jotters. Or rather his contract isn't getting renewed. Board meeting this morning.

A possible No.2 at Celtic? The two Lennys, tearing shampoo up ;)

I'd be surprised at that.

I think he's been relatively successful in his time there.

Perhaps I am hoping against hope, and it certainly flies in the face of recent form, but I fully expect Hibs to beat Kilmarnock in a one off game at Easter Road when everything is on the line.

Kilmarnock struggling in a play off would be immensely pleasing.

If Killie lose, they may well be gone for a while. They're an awful side.

Was a cracking game as well. Maybe not the quality but more enjoyable than a lot of the stuff Ive watched this season from the 'god i really have a chip on my shoulder about the English'
