Off to Rothesay on Monday for a few days work, two Tims looking for a friendly boozer midweek.
The Galatea is the pub where the CSC is in Rothesay. Was working there last year. Not many Tims in Rothesay!
Cheers

Someone else told me today that Rothesay was a hun hole :ponder: Quite shocked at that.

So this is my only Tim friendly boozer.

Many thanks to the Sportsman Bar on Nevil Road, Bristol for accommodating six hungover bhoys for todays match. A Celtic friendly bar with a great beer (and cider), great atmosphere and friendly locals.

The Foresters Arms is approx 6 minutes walk from the Sportsman and is the home of the Bristol CSC, where you would've found loads more tims

A couple of times, when the feed at the Foresters was playing up, we went to the Sportsman, where we were made feel more than welcome. Caracking menu too :)

We got a taxi from our hotel up to the Foresters Arms but they don't have Sky any more so only show games on terrestrial telly. The owner was kind enough to point us in the direction of the Sportsman where Bristol CSC watch the Sky/ESPN games. Very friendly bunch of lads

Dublin city centre sunday for the DU game ......? booked into The Arlington Hotel, any info on that ?? cheers
If I remember they have a TV in bar - you're right on Liffey so across river is Temple Bar (Tourist Area) with plenty of sports bars and Sunday music sessions.
Up at top of O´ConnelL St. is Murray´s Bar and Grill - they show games upstairs -

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=O%C2%B4connell+st+dublin&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=53.352308,-6.261475&spn=0.000796,0.002642&sll=53.852527,-4.042969&sspn=12.79827,43.286133&hnear=O%27Connell+St&t=m&z=19&layer=c&cbll=53.352399,-6.261241&panoid=9VntAdocWrkToxM79fSV-Q&cbp=12,74.8,,0,0

Good stuff mate

I should have organised to meet as I was in myself as were a couple of other KDSers (although they were wearing blue :nono: )

I left before the jelly vodka came out - he had ice cream too but surprisingly it didn't stay frozen in the fridge :brickwall:

Usually stay in Port El Kantuoui when in Tunisia, the only "irish "bar we found was across the road from the Marhaba Palace Hotel.
Lots of sport/football on.
Dont know if that helps you
Good luck- the local beer is called celtia :)

Cu Chulainn bar in Summerhill, 5 min walk from city centre, or just jump in a taxi.
