where in London you going to be?

if you're in Central London, then the Marquis of Granby will more than likely be showing it.

Marquis of Granby is fine then. You're very much in Central London and the Marquis of Granby is easy. If you're in Barbican can get a train from Bank or Liverpool St (tube stations) for a straight tube to Tottenham court road, or just take a tube from Barbican or Old Street stations and change at Euston etc to get a tube to Tottenham Court Rd station or Leicester Square. Then follow the map as from that link in my earlier message. Any problems then PM me.

Innsbruck? For the huns game feb 15th, ideally near the airport
I would suggest sending a PM to Dr. Steigl.

He's about 200kms away from there, but he might be able to advise if there's nowt on celticbars.com?

(you going boarding?)

Irish Centre is your friend, drummerkev. Watched a few CL games there last season and it was a good venue.

Couple of quid on the door as you sign in, decent beer and big screen.

I am off to Fuertaventura in February for some winter sun . . however will also be there during the next Huns Game at CP.

According to celticbars.com there are three possible venues in Corralejo;

McCarthy's Irish Bar
Finnigans
Rosie O'Gradys

Can anyone recomend one particular bar over another? Will they all be showing the game? - Are they all Celtic-sympathetic pubs, they ain't going to switch over the channel should a Manchester United game be on?

Footnote: was in Lindos (Rhodes) when we last played the monkeys at CP, and they thrashed us 2-4, I hope this isn't some sorta trend . . should I cancel my holiday?
BTW, just a wee update I emailed McCarthys Bar last month:

Quote:

Will you good people be showing the Celtic/Rangers game in February?
And if so what time do you open?
Otis

and I was promptly emailed back:

Quote:

Yes we surely will be, and we will be open at 11.30 am that fine Sunday morn.
See you then
Declan

So that is that sorted..........

What would be the best bar in New York for the hun game in March?
Both the Parlour at 86th and Broadway and Jack Demsey's at 33d and 5th Ave. are excellent places to watch the game live. I know there are posters here who frequent both. Bear in mind that both will be rammed because of the proximity to St. Patrick's Day.

In fact, they are the only places in Manhattan that are guaranteed to have the games live. The other New York area CSCs are in the Bronx, Queens and New Jersey.

Thanks TW

Is New York on 'Eastern Time', 5hrs behind Hampden Time? Also, will these bars be ticket only?

I was down at the weekend and tried to catch the ICT game in there and it was members only at the Irish Centre. Probably just as it was the derby with Sunderland but it might be worth contacting them to make sure you won't have any problems
