Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
The Oxford Arms on Camden high street was showing a 3pm home game on, last time I was in London. Not an explicitly Cellic pub - you might have to share it with Arsenal fans watching their 3pm home game as well on another telly in the same bar. Great pub though.

Cheers lads....

............but I was over there for the Dundee Utd game

Ah well, you'll know the next time

Not long back from Sharm, tremendous holiday and the best place I've dived by a long chalk.

I've posted on the BSAC forum to see if anyone can recommend a boozer for you.

Are you guys diving in Hurghada?

Downtown Hurghada is a bit of a mess. Looks like its been planned by a blind drunk. There's pubs there but I never noticed any Irish bars - could be wrong though.

I'll miss Ehberdeen (A), Hibs (H) & Dundeh Utd Cup game at end of January through being in Candolim, Goa. Any up to date tips for seeing the games?

Cheers

PM Dubcentral did he not do some traveling in that area a few years back, might not be current but maybe more of a step for a hint than you have just now. i seem to remember him posting about games in some strange far off places.

Have a great time

I've watched a good few games in India. It's really down to luck. STAR Sports, TEN Sports, Zee Sports and ESPN are the main channels that will carry the game. Generally we will be on one of them. It seems to be easier to watch our games in Asia than in Scotland.

If you go into any bar and just ask them to put the game on they will normally just hand you the remote. Get yourself a seat and plonk it right infront of the tv and don't let go of the remote. You will get the odd English plonker who wants to watch some pish Premiership match, just make sure they know that the SPL is far more entertaining and that they will have to drag you from the bar if they want to watch anything other than the hoops. I made a full bar watch us play St. Mirren in Dec 2007. We drew 1-1 and it was feckin terrible. I don't think I changed any of their opinions on the SPL.

Enjoy Goa mate. Make sure you get around a bit. Old Goa is worth a day trip, if only to visit the tomb of St. Francis Xavier. Get to a spice plantation and try a few of the beaches. Anjuna market is a must do. It's a bit of a "tourist" market but still a good laugh. It's on every wednesday. You can get to it easily on a scooter which you can hire for about 100rps a day or just pay a rickshaw driver to take you. Driving a scooter on Indian roads is good fun though. Also, Palolem and Agonda down south are really beautiful. If you need any advice just send me a PM.

Think Paris can be found at letter F (for France) on celticbars.com. Anyway, the home of the Paris Celts is the Harp Bar, near Place de Clichy. All games shown live.

I am being sent to Nottingham & Derby next week with the work. My ticket has been re-sold for anyone on the chase, but I was wondering if anyone has any pubs they can recommend that will be showing the semi next week.

Cheers.

Did a bit of digging and in Hurghada there seems to be 1 Irish bar "PJ's Irish Pub" but when I tried their website it bounced so don't know if it's still open.

There is another bar advertised as having live football - Papas bar but there doesn't seem to be a way toi contact them to check it out.

Will just need to wait and see.

Can't wait

I have recently moved to the North East, and was wondering if anyone could recommend pubs that show Celtic matches in the Whitley Bay area, or further afield in Newcastle.

I know the Tyneside Irish Centre in the Gallowgate (Newcastle) has an adjoining pub...has anyone been ? Any good?

No doubt there are plenty of pubs around with Setanta, but whether they show SPL matches is another matter.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
