Awright lhads,

In Dorset for the Christmas holidays, Wife's from down this neck of the woods. Know that there is a CSC down here, Bournemouth Shamrock, but I can't get a hold of the guy, (Big Joe) I became pally with through going down to the pub.

It's been a fair while since I've went along to the club. Does anyone know if it's still up and running as I don't want to go all the way down there (Pokesdown), if they've moved elsewhere.

Cheers.

Last time I was in Inverness a few years ago I watched our match against Aalborg in the Champions league in a pub called The Gellion.

Good Tim shop.

any idea where the best place to watch the old firm game in Paisley would be? Was told by a friend that in the last few years hun pubs have grown in number to far out weigh celtic friendly establishments in the town. Someone else mentioned the The Craig Dhu might be an option but wasn't sure about whether it was more of a hun or tim kind of place.

Bit late now, but for future reference, Paddy Malarkys and Borgia on New Street are safe enough - both mixed (Paddys is covered in St Mirren flags!!) but notoriously v. Tim-friendly so the only huns allowed in are sensible ones who know to behave (was bought pints off the resident huns on Tommy Burns Thursday in Paddys  ). Or there's always the Wig & Pen behind the station opposite the court. Think Gabriels is OK as well - my mates were in there today and had no bother that I heard of.

No idea about the Craig Dhu, only been in for a Scotland game. Stay clear of the Tea Gardens if you're down that end of town and decide to go elsewhere - once went in for a pint with mates and the top ten scores on the quiz machine all listed as BJK

Not sure about Bremen but there is/was an 'Irish' pub just outside the main train station. Might be worth a shot. Hamburg is only about 30-60 mins away on the train. Seeing as its an early KO you could get the day there with the St Pauli crowd. Guaranteed good craic

Scrap the Wig and Pen, couple of good guys stabbed by a couple of mankies there on Sunday night

Tends to be a bit of a mankie-magnet due to Celtic allegiances.

A pc-less Aldo needs somewhere to watch the Berwick game while on his winter vacation in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. Please help, the thought of him sitting by the pool in his hooped speedos and tricolour cravat, strongbow in one hand and thumb texting away furiously with the other will spoil my matchday experience.

Thanks for the info guys. Actually ended up in the Craig Dhu and was pretty happy with the place. Pretty even split of good guys and "sensible" huns. Jumped around like a nutter when we scored the first goal and no one appeared to bat an eye lid. Was sitting next to an old fella who was a regular of the place and obviously a life long gers man, but actually had quite a good laugh with him through the game - would have no problems going back to the place.

Was well warned off the Wig and Pen before the game, only to read about the "sword attack" a few days later - think I'll give the place a wide berth in future!
