Does anyone know any good Celtic pubs or CSC's? I'm going there the day of the Scottish Cup final, so need to find a pub to watch us in (assumign we get to the final).

As usual ;)

Oscar Wilde http://www.oscar-wilde-irish-pub.de/sport.html in Berlin-Mitte or Blarney Pub http://www.blarney-pub.de/cms/ in Berlin-Kreuzberg (more of a Celtic pub)

Pubs will be open at 11am I imagine, as per usual. The last time we were at Hampden for the Cis final against the Huns last year it was a 3pm kick off on Sunday. We got through just after 12 with the sole intention of getting a few pints in in the Montford Bar, which was absolutely ridicolously busy and had one person serving.

Moral of the story- get there early.

I've always thought it better to drink a wee bit away from Hampden on big match days. My choice would be Victoria Rd which would leave you a comfortable 10/15 min walk to the park.

I stay around the corner from the Montford and avoid it like the plague when there is a big game on. Just far too busy.

Bend, Oregon - Sat 15th May, Scottish Cup Final.

No chance of getting up to Portland for a 7am start and I'm keen to see Ross County against Raith Rovers.

As per my thread in the Travel forum - any Celtic bars in Miami, Florida?
John Paton is the man behind the South Florida CSC in Pompano Beach - when I was looking for something in the Boca Raton / Miami area it was the closest option, though I ended up not making it down because of the inconsiderate scheduling of my friends' wedding - they didn't know that Saturday mornings were for Celtic.

The info below is from www.nafcsc.com, which also has John's email address.

South Florida C.S.C.

President: John Paton
Address: 10400 N.W. 17 Street, Plantation, Florida
Tel: (954) 473-5167
Fax: (954) 473-8869

NEW VENUE EFFECTIVE February 8th 2010!!!!!

Venue: Frog & Toad
Address: 5782 Powerline Rd
Pompano Beach, Florida

Nice one!

Looks like the Frog & Toad is in Fort Lauderdale though, which may be a bit of a trek from Miami? I'll try John L Sullivan's and see if that's still a 'Celtic' pub. There are no games on when I'm there in any case, so no big deal if we can't find it.

Cheers again
