I'll be in either Aberfeldy or Pitlochry this weekend. Anyone know the best place to watch the game on Sunday?

Anybody know if there's anywhere in the Dominican Republic that will show the huns game this Sunday?

Try this place in Aberfeldy on Dunkeld St.

Schiehallion Public House, Aberfeldy

Unsure if it's Tim friendly or not.

Does anyone know a pub in Derry showing the huns game that is child friendly (16 and 14 year old)?

Am sure there's a list of weegie boozers listed somewhere, but I was wondering where would be a good bar to watch the game on Sunday in? I'm going to be in Glasgow on Sunday so figured I'd find a good place to watch the game. Am just not too savvy on places where I know Tims dominate the place, and I don't mean wandering down to the Barras and such like. Anywhere in the city centre worth going to?
Cheers ma dears.

Failte, McChuills or The Admiral are the only 'guaranteed' Celtic-only pubs in the city centre I think.

Anywhere else, you're taking your chances.

Spot on. That's the three boozers I would drink in if need be.

That's just along from Central Station. Played in there a couple of times, just never knew it was a Celtic bar at the time.

Going back a long time, I used to sing in the Admiral Lounge in 1971-74, and it was definitely a Celtic pub then!

Failte is impossible to get served in when there's a game on, it's far too narrow to host all the people wanting to get to the bar.

McChuills is in the merchant city, too far from the rest of the toon

Can't remember about the Admiral...

Go to Molly Malone's at the top of Hope St (right beside the bookies which used to be the Post Office on Hope St) - decent size, accessible and 60s from McDonalds if you get peckish

Oh and the manager's a hun, always good to laugh at him when the tic win

Magic. Cheers for the tip. So long as I can cadge a pint (one a half - lightweight, I know) and ken no-one's gonna put the head on me for berating the Hun, I'll be happy. Thanks again everyone... :)

Not been in MM's for a few years, and never for the football, so didn't know whether it was a Celtic and/or just an Irish pub. Good to know for future reference.

And Failte's a feckin hole as well. :boik:

There'll be a few of us in The Admiral... unless the magic fairy conjurs up a match ticket or two.

Admiral booked out for downstairs already - had some seats left upstairs when i was in on Tuesday. Best to phone and book a table as they can be quite strict on the door.

The Admiral is a safe bet and will be full of Celtic fans. Been in a few times for the games and always enjoyed it.

As Idyllwild says avoid Failte as it is a dump. It will be a cracking atmosphere but its a horrible pub
