Going out for a few drinks today with the Mrs in Glasgow. Where's best to watch today's game? Does Malones in Sauchiehall Lane show the games?

Galway's a great town but been a few years since I was over that way.

From memory lots of places on Quay Street, including great pubs, Quays Pub (huge place) did decent food downstairs, McDonaghs (?) was like an upmarket fish & chip shop (don't let that put ye off) but with seafood and a proper sit-down attached, aswell as the take-out/cafe.

Finnegans was over another block or so (the centre is pretty compact), more of a trad irish comfort food type place.

Can't think of any more, lots of places only opened for dinner, but plenty choice and great guinness, try and find an old style bar where the barrels still under the counter; creamy guinness heaven :)

This has whetted my appetite, taking my wee fella to Dublin for the Barca game, maybe jump on the train at Heuston over tae the west! If only I had the time. :ponder:

Enjoy :)

If they're only on Celtic TV, which I think they are, then no. Best bet is to get Celtic TV for the month or come up to Benalmadena, hard to believe but it's the only Celtic Bar on the coast.
