Larbert area - anyone know of any celtic friendly pubs? Ones with ESPN would be even handier

Until then I'll have to put up with Sportsters in Stirling
I`ve lived in Larbert for about a year and a half now mate. It seems to have much more leanings toward the dark side.
Couple in Falkirk worth going to - Star Inn and the Magpie. Even down to Denny or Bonnybridge where there are a good few Tim friendly pubs.

Try Maguires. There's a write up about it on Page 5 of this thread.

I've lived in the area all my life and can confirm that Larbert definitely leans to the other side. No Celtic friendly pubs there I'm afraid. The Star Inn or the Polish Club are about the only real Celtic pubs in the Falkirk area. There are a couple of others listed on Celtic Bars (including the Magpie) but they are more not anti-Celtic rather than openly pro-Celtic.

The Star Inn is my usual haunt.

As dennybhoy will testify, Denny is entirely different :worthy:

Aye I'd recommend the Star, been about a year since I was in it last though.

And Stirling Sportsters is murder, but most of Stirling is tbh.

Michael Collins pub in the city should likely show it.... it's quite central.. Check their website.

Going to be in Bremen on the day of the St Mirren away game. I have checked celticbars but nothing listed for Bremen although there are a few fake 'oirish' bars in the city. The game is on Sky I think-anyone have any ideas or been to the city?

I think the Castle is still the home of the Naomh Padraig - I've never been there so no idea what it's like - and it's not very city centre either.

I'd say there'll be a good Celtic crowd watching it in Murrays (Frazers) - I was walking back up O'Connell st after the Moscow game and saw a good few in hoops coming out of there

The CSC moved as the new owners didn't want to hold the gigs anymore. They still have all the tellys and advertise themselves as a venue for watching football matches so I'd guess alot of people would just go there out of habit now - knowing that the game would be on
