Will be in El Medano (small resort near Tenerife's south airport). Don't think there's anywhere I can watch the game on 7th Feb against Dundee and 14th against St Johnstone, both 12.30 k.o.s so should be on Sky or BT. thinking about taking the bus through to Los Cristianos (c. 40 mins.) Any recommendations? Preferably not too far from the bus terminal?
As above , the Hoops bar is 5 mins walk from the bus station /stop .
Walk down and take first left along road Avenida de Amsterdam for about 200yds then a left at junction , Hoops Bar is on RHS at Funchal Complex

Thanks. Do you know anything about the (Titsa) buses in the area. I thought you took the 408 from El Madena to Los Cristianos but it is not shown in the timetable. If you google it it only gives you a route from the north inland to granadilla. Any idea of what bus to take el madena to les critianos?

It's possibly a bit too far but Timmy's Bar in Torreblanca (between Fuengirola and Benalmadena) is worth considering. Incidentally, the name isn't to do with Tim as Celt - it was named after a former owner who died but it is a 'Tic bar/restaurant.

Baileys in Torremolinos used to be a decent go-to, but I haven't been there for about 10 years, in fact I think the last time I was there was the Seville week. Pretty sure it's still there though.

Usually go to the Embassy in Benalmadena when I'm out that way.

Blackburn v Swansea is the only other game on at the same time as ours - and that's only on BBC1 Wales. As we are on Sky Sports 1, I'm sure the will be bars showing it, if you don't fancy popping through to Bristol. If you find one, let us know.

If you DO come through, get the no. 70 bus halfway down the hill from Temple Meads station entrance, on the right, at 12.10pm. It'll go through town, before heading up the hill and onto Ashley Down rd. Get off just after the City of Bristol college. Foresters Arm is along a bit, on the other side of the road. Not surprisingly it's a green building

Thanks again. Will be landing in Bath late morning so a trip into Bristol is unlikely - will know for next time.

Is there not an Irish Centre in Toon Town that shows games - I´m sure I´ve seen it mentioned here before?
In the Gallowgate ?
