I'll be in London at the weekend. Anyone drink in The Cock Tavern in Euston?
That's the one to be in
Usually go to Euston for games, thinking of going to The White Bear near Kennington/Oval on Sunday..

Anyone ever been? Whats it like compared to The Cock Tavern??

White Bear is a far better pub BUT you won't get Rebel tunes (manager won't allow it). Good bunch, nice area and it's much cleaner than the Cock Tavern. My regular.

Take your pick mate. Loads of bars up the main strip(Rose street :ponder: ) will have it on. Couple of Irish bars up that way are probably the best bet there. Good few pubs down near the harbour as well that will be showing the games. The Jaggy Thistle would be a good bet although that may be a Hun gathering, maybes best to avoid it.

Any one know of any pubs in centre of berlin for Moscow game. Missus not really having the prospect of the first night of the holiday being spent searching for a celtic bar-or even watching it, but i'm thinking if i can get a heads up then we could be in the area and, you know, just happen to be walking past as the 2nd half kicks off.

Hi Mate,

A few of us went here and watched a celtic game last year. The manu v liverpool game was on at the same time and they showed both.

Its a small place with good beer and there was a small club bit at the back.

Cheers

Gavin

Little or no chance for Koh phangan i'm afraid. Your best bet is to get a boat over to Samui (Chaweng) for the day, there's a couple of bars there (names totally escaping me at the moment) that will have it. Watched an ICT game and the Man Utd (naka free kick game) there. Magic.

I saw Keane score for Celtic in a bar in Koh Phangan it was on Goal TV which showed all the live Setanta games in Asia (2005/2006)

I think it might be a lot easier this season with the Celtic v Huns games going back to Sky!

Just go into a small pub with satellite and ask for the remote, buy a few extra beers I never had any problems watching games in all the months I spent in SE Asia.
