I'm going to Playa de Ingles in December and will be there for the Spartak game, the Last time i was there eleven years ago I watched us beat Liverpool at anfield (Big John :worthy: ) In Keanes bar at The Irish Centre, I've since read that Keanes Bar is no more and the Centre has become a run down dump, can anyone advise a good alternative
Maybe ask around the bars in the Commercial centre when you arrive
was over there a year ago

The irish centre is a bit run down but it did have a big irish bar right next to it. It had all the games on sky but the beer was slightly more expensive compared to other bars. It was a pretty good bar though and if you cant get the game, you should get it in there.

From my stay there four years ago, I found Rocky O'Reilly's in Stepanska (just off Wenceslas Square) to be good. It's big so can accommodate more than one event should there be a clash.

Caffrey's Irish Bar in the Old Square might also be OK, but it's smaller so they might give precedence to something else. I made the mistake of going there first but there was a New Zealand - Australia rugby match on and it seemed that half of the southern hemisphere was there! They'd made such a mess of the place that it had to close for an hour or two. I caught the second half in Rocky O'Reilly's. I missed our four first-half goals and all I saw was three Motherwell goals as the game finished 4-3. :(

The street behind Rocky O'Reillys with a massive strip club called Darling Cabaret (Ve Smečkách) is the home of Prague 67 supporters club in a place called Paddys, the beer is half the price of what you pay at Rocky O'Reillys, or any of the other Irish Bars. I would be in there, but heading out to Malaga before going to Lisbon.

Your best bet is to get the train either to Cologne or Düsseldorf.

For Cologne: http://www.barneyvallelys.com/ (they listed at least that they are showing SPL games)

For Düsseldorf: http://www.mclaughlins.de/ (they are defo showing the game)

Gonna be in central London next week for the Spartak Moscow game. Any decent Celtic boozers to watch the match? I'll be in and around Waterloo (Park Plaza County Hall).
