Celtic 2003/2004 lost their 1st game 3 days after winning the title.

It's Wednesday we play Thistle isn't it ...

I've said for a while that we need to watch out for 2001/2. Having said that, they play at Ibrox next against Oldco and I think they might have to settle for a draw.

2003/4 are concentrating on the UEFA Cup quarter finals against Villarreal so they just might drop a couple of points at home against Hearts.

A fine opportunity for us to go top if we can beat Thistle!

I hope Numan is playing, no attacking threat whatsoever.

Coincidence, this season We've only dropped points against the 2 new clubs that were formed specifically to fill places in the 3rd division

Been trying to track this down but am having some trouble:

What's the Scottish unbeaten record for all domestic matches? So including the cups. Was it us during the 1915-16 period? I've seen references to 60 odd matches during that time but I can't work out if that was the just the league or included the cup as well.

That must just be the league because a quick look on Wiki shows no Scottish Cups.

We won the cup in 1913/14 & not again to 1922/23. There would be no league cup then either.

Huns won a treble in 92/93 going unbeaten for 44 games including Europe, we ended it with a win at Celtic Park. I've no idea how many were domestic games though.

So 7 Cup games so far this year, 30 league games and the pumping of Motherwell at Ronny's leaving party gives us a running total of 38 domestic matches unbeaten.

Anyone know what the record is?

Longest unbeaten league run is 62 games, November '15 to April' 17.
Therefore less than 62 is the answer, will get back to you on this but we must be close.

 it must be 62 then. Just checked and there was no Scottish cup matches during WW1 - so it was an unbeaten league and domestic run. Cheers to everyone who chipped in

Love that graphic, but you've got to invert the red and green for draws, losses and goals against. :ph43r:

Interesting to see 2012/ 13 at (almost) the bottom of the list. Considering our run in Europe that season (and assorted injuries), I'll take it.
