Hotel Ashley's Garden

Yeah,I was right. it's still the Krewerth family.Mind you,I'm going back a number of years.

The Bentley/Rolls in the picture will be his.Collector of things English.antiques,furniture.

I see a single room is 100-285 euros.Probably looking at £50.

You can get cheaper.

Anyway,if you want something different from a big hotel. it's in a lovely area.Handy for a Fortuna Duesseldorf game.

Cheers for the tip sligobhoy but left it too late to book the hotel in Gelsenkirchen and it's now full so got a cheap hostel in Dusseldorf and they seems to have trains all through the night back there. Not bothering with anywhere on the Sat night as need to be at the airport for about 5 on the Sunday morning. Will just make do with a barstool in the Altstadt :gavbhoy:

Got a ticket for Leverkusen today but no standing ones left :(

Can anyone give advice for getting tickets for a Dortmund home game at all? All seem unavailable on club website. Very expensive elsewhere, hopefully someone can give advice.

Apologies if asked a hundred times before. :ph43r:

Send an email round a few fan clubs and see if they can help you out. You can sometimes get tickets off their website as long as you are on as soon as they go on sale and it's not against one of the bigger teams.

I bought a ticket off Ebay for the derby with Schalke years ago which was about £50 but that was back when they were really struggling. Probably more than that now.

The Bundesliga will be back tomorrow with Schalke vs. Hannover

Schalke lost to Bayern 5-0 during the winter break in a friendly, maybe I put a fiver on Hannover

I wouldn't take too much notice of that, Schalke gave up after half an hour.

Score draw for me.

Apparently Neuer were doing warm up exercises with Thomas Muller (Muller, who were a reserve, were shooting balls at him) in the middle of their 4-0 win against Schalke in the weekend, as he had nothing to do and wanted to keep warm if Schalke should manage to get a counter attack

What a finish by Mandzu  Great signing.

Incidentally, the 278m figure in the Pep thread isn't his budget, it's how much Bayern have in available cash

How much did they sign Mandzukic for? Bargain anyway.

What's the likely story with Gomez in the summer, wouldn't imagine Guardiola will be looking to use him very much if at all, any rumours on where he is likely to end up?

Patrick Helmes came on as a sub for Wolfsburg last night and the commentator said it was his first appearance of the season, has he been injured? We were loosely linked with a loan move for him last summer and I was pretty excited about it, seen him a couple of times playing for Leverkusen and he seemed like a cracking big striker.

About €14 million

I honestly dunno about Gomez. Mandzu fits the system and players better. I think a striker will be our one big summer signing (the new policy apparently). Kirchhoff will replace DvB. Falcao, Suarez, Lewandowski, Torres, Neymar and Rooney have all been linked. All depends on what Pep wants to do.

Helmes is a very good Bundesliga striker when fit. And that's the problem with him recently. He was a big player at Koln and Leverkusen.
