The Celtic fans media revolution will not be televised but it will be online and free to all in the one-stop shop at Hail Hail Media on Spreaker.com.

As one of the co-hosts of the HomeBhoys Celtic fans phone-in show which is now heading for it’s 39th episode next Monday we have been there at the birth of this network. With both ourselves and the guys in America, Beyond the Waves broadcasting live on a weekly basis (mostly) and the LostBhoys contributing their podcast we have seen the channel grow from strength to strength.

If we were a toddler finding our way then, now we could probably be described as an adolescent striding forward full of confidence and taking on new challenges.
Speaking from a HomeBhoys point of view we have seen our numbers climb steadily every week and the situation across the city has probably helped accelerate our standing as we have had a great laugh at the clowns every Monday. The materiel der h*n is providing everyone at the moment you could have a Celtic show with different content every night of the week…

Every night of the week? as in 7? as in seven broadcasts with a mixture of content and opinions all done by Celtic diehards for Celtic fans from every corner of the globe?

Well it would just so happen that…

Yes we can now count SEVEN confirmed shows for the Hail Hail Media channel listed below and where their hosts are based.

HomeBhoys (Ireland/Scotland)
Beyond the Waves (America)
LostBhoys (England/America/Canada)
Tic Talk (Scotland)
The Temporary Stand (Scotland/Ireland)
The Rhebel Phodcast (Australia)
MetsBhoys (starts this coming Sunday 9.30pm Ireland/Scotland/America)

Of course everyone will know most of the shows by now but here’s a brief reminder.

Firstly it’s my own show HomeBhoys where I meet up with Joe every Monday night and we’re joined on Skype by Paul & Jason before opening up the lines for anyone to call in and talk about whatever they want. The show is always a good craic with nobody taking things too seriously and there is always a mishap or two thrown in to add to the ‘atmosphere’. We normally give away a prize every week in some made up quiz or competition. Add HomeBhoys on Skype to join in every Monday 7.30-9.30pm Celtic Park time. Add @HomeBhoys on Twitter.

Second up is Beyond the Waves Celtic Show, the now after game must that has become routine especially for those who can’t travel to Paradise for a match. The guys broadcast normally 2 hours after the full-time whistle with Graham anchoring the show Stateside joined by his compatriots The Rev and Coach. The guys also take Skype calls if you add Beyond the Waves Celtic Show to your contacts. This show really gives a window into the lives of Celtic fans across the pond and shows the passion is no less whether your 1, 100 or 1000 miles away from Paradise. Follow @BTWCelticShow on Twitter.

The LostBhoys podcast needs little introduction as one of the elder statesmen now of the online Celtic community. The 3 Amigo’s in the shape of Chris, Gerry and the irrepressible Jamie are now as familiar to us as jelly & ice cream. Following in the footsteps of the Celtic Underground podcast the LostBhoys hit the ground running and as well as the 3 amigo’s banter Chris has brought us some fantastic interviews with the likes of Henrik Larsson, Chris Sutton, Frank McAvennie, George Connelly, Anton Rogan and the list goes on. A proper insight into these guys careers and a proper Celtic interview with all the questions you want to hear being answered. Of course they also have the daily blogs, annual book and even Joe’s (from HomeBhoys) song World Wide Tim Parade that was released under the LostBhoys banner for charity and is played at every home game. The guys are heading for half a million podcast downloads soon and without letting the cat out of the bag there just might be something a wee bit different planned for that one Follow @TheLostBhoys on Twitter.

Now we’re getting to the new stuff that might not be so familiar to everyone as they find their feet in the timternet community.

The Tic Talk Show from the Carluke Shamrock CSC has been a hit from day one. Host Richard is joined by a mixture of panelists every week from no hair to grey hair could maybe describe them. In other words all ages. The patter between the bhoys is a particular highlight as you can sense instantly there is long standing friendships and emotional attachments in the room. Your instantly at ease listening to these guys and their knowledge of the game and memories are always entertaining. Already they have done outside broadcasts and had guests such as Peter Martin, Murdo McLeod and Chic Charnley. Follow @CarlukeShamrock on Twitter.

Next to sign up with the Hail Hail Media family was the brand new Temporary Stand podcast that was hosted for the first time last week by the Celtic Underground. Eddie once again doing sterling work promoting new shows to his mountain of listeners. The show is anchored by Scott and he was joined on the line by 3 of his fellow Huddlers. The first show was a grand effort and it will be interesting to see how this one develops, certainly has massive potential and with Marty involved my guess is anything could happen…Follow @TemporaryStand on Twitter. (edit Pod #2 is out now on Hail Hail Media)

We’re aslo delighted to announce that The Rhebel Phodcast has signed up to HHM. Normally broadcasting on the Wildog Half Hour podcast on iTunes with the guys recording on the ‘Balcony of Freedom’. Prefontaine and Callum will be bringing you that Celtic flavour with a taste of down under. The guys are 4 episodes in in what started as a bit of a laugh but became so popular with listeners they’ve decided to run with it. Follow @RhebelPhodcast on Twitter.

Last but I hope not least as I’ll be involved in it is the coming soon MetsBhoys phone-in show. This one is a wee bit different and as such won’t be everyones cup of tea. This is a Mets/Baseball show that will be live on a Friday (mostly) night from 10.30pm to midnight before an East Coast game starts. Hosted by myself and Jason over in Scotland we’ll be joined every week by Frankie and Nicky in Queens NY on Skype. It remains to be seen how this show will go but given the buzz around it already we’re pretty confident about this one. It’s all Celtic fans involved so if your into baseball (not just the Mets) give it a try. We plan to broadcast the first show Sun March 11th during Spring Training. Follow @MetsBhoys on Twitter.

So that’s our line-up for now and who knows we might expand further soon as more and more quality Celtic content sticks it’s head above the parapet. The idea of the channel is to have a one-stop shop for Celtic fans where you can get all the shows in one handy place.

We are of course to be found by searching for Hail Hail Media on www.Spreaker.com. On the page you can listen live, playback or download MP3s for free of episodes of your favourite shows.

We can also be listened to live on the FREE Spreaker iPhone & Android apps. you can also listen to archived shows on there too. We recently added a Hail Hail Media channel onto www.Soundcloud.com and you can get our archived shows on there and it’s FREE iPhone and smart phones app.

As well as the smart phone apps we can provide a Hail Hail Media player that can be embedded onto any website or blog. The player plays when live and also has the archived episodes. For an example see the player on www.lostbhoys.com. For the code email us at HailHailMedia@gmail.com and we’ll sort you out. It’s our hope that down the line every Celtic website will carry this Hail Hail Media player.

The podcasts are all available on iTunes by searching for Hail Hail Media. There is a small glitch with mobile iTunes as I write this but I’ve been onto Spreaker and they are working to fix this. In the meantime desktop iTunes has no issues and I can highly recommend Downcast app for managing all your podcasts on iPhone. This 3rd party app is working perfectly too for the Hail Hail Media feed. For the moment we are only having an issue with iTunes mobile but I expect this to be resolved soon. For those who want Houseys excellent OAO show as a podcast the RSS feed from that show can be manually added to the Downcast app too.

For ALL show and HHM updates follow @HailHailMedia on Twitter.

Happy Listenings
Hail Hail (Media)

Edit: We have also now added the Paradise Preview podcast which is a short show normally less than 20 minutes where Josh and Graham preview the game ahead. Follow @ParadisePreview on Twitter.

We take a walk down memory lane and look ahead to what the future holds and we breakdown todays game vs. Aberdeen. We also talk to Phil MacGiollaBhain about the latest news and former Rangers players, who are pundits, who came from Italy and are nutjobs that may soon find themselves in a bit of bother. Just wanted to keep this as a thread for HHM instead of separate thread for HBs and BTW etc.

Not so sure I would say too many as you say something for everyone now and eventually will all come of the same RSS

LostBhoys #133 - Homies

http://www.spreaker.com/page#!/user/homebhoys/lostbhoys_133_homies

This week, we catch up with Joe and Harper from the HomeBhoys show in part one of our weekly podcast (part two will be out tomorrow if all goes to plan) where we have a great old chat about all the new Celtic Fan based media that has sprung up over the last couple of months as well as well as where we think this sort of stuff fits in the world of the average Celtic fan of today. We also laugh a wee bit at Rangers – not much mind as it is too easy these days.

KK also reports “live” from the Motherwell game at Celtic Park.

Enjoyed Homies episode. I agree with one of the comments that all you guys should come together for one podcast, every week with a rotation of hosts/guests.

LostBhoys #134 - Walking Away

http://www.spreaker.com/page#!/user/homebhoys/lostbhoys_134_walking_away

Well the second podcast this weeks has the Three Amigos talking about the on the pitch action from the last week or so with a look back at the Motherwell and Aberdeen games as well as a quick look ahead to the Scottish cup game in Dundee against United. Jamie is a bit under the weather but soldiers on and even perks up long enough for an impromptu game of Tim or hun.

KK also reports “live” from the Aberdeen game and Gary is back to test your knowledge of the Hoops.

We are going live at 4pm another post game live call in show. Tonight we are going to break down the cup tie against Dundee United, assess where we are with the huns on life support and look ahead to next weeks league cup final against Killie. Rev likely has a rant in him and we will be taking your calls

You can Skype in at beyondthewaves or just listen in right here http://iceltic.net/?page_id=183.

Or by going to http://www.spreaker.com/page#!/show/hail_hail_media

MetsBhoys - The Beginning...

We'll be going LIVE tonight at 9.30pm Celtic Park time with the first ever MetsBhoys phone-in show. Tonight we'll just be laying out the idea and the shows that lie ahead, do some bio's of the guys involved and review the Spring Training game that the Mets will have just played against the Marlins.

This show will be purely about baseball so won't be everyones cup of tea and at that will be pretty Mets centric although of course anyone is invited to join in and call.

Add MetsBhoys on Skype to join Harper & Jason (from the HomeBhoys) and Frankie 'Mad' Fraser and Nicky over in Queens NY.

Beyond the Waves 11 March, 2012

http://www.spreaker.com/page#!/user/homebhoys/beyond_the_waves_11_march_2012

This week, the Rev, Coach and Graham broke down the cup tie against Dundee United and tried to examine what we can take forward into next weeks League Cup final vs. Killie. We were also joined by Phil MacGiollaBhain for the latest update in terms of what is really going on with Rangers as well as the SPL in general. We also had a special guest call in, Stewart Henderson, of Craig Whyte prank call fame to talk about his infamous discussion with the Rangers owner and how talks are going. He also breaks down essentially everything that is wrong with the situation and what we must do in response. It's absolutely can't miss stuff. Proud as always to be a Celtic supporter. Hail Hail and keep the faith.

http://www.spreaker.com/page#!/user/homebhoys/metsbhoys_1_the_beginning

The first ever MetsBhoys show was a great success. Harper & Jason were joined by Nicky & Frankie in Queens NY.

We discussed where our love of the Mets came from, our expectations going forward. Asked questions in 'Dumb as a Yankee' and sorted out our Homework for the next show.

We also took call from John the Cardinals fan, Squire the Giants and Gary the Red Sox. However LET'S GO METS.
