New striker in the middle?
It's that bint Michelle Mone.
A truly horrible character...
And terribly publicity-shy :ph43r:

Guess the match.

Posted Image

Nicholas the first time so it's 1980-83.
Judging by the collar on the strip it's 1982-83.
Opposition doesn't look Scottish therefore could be Irish.

So my guess would be Finn Harps May 1983.....?
Finn Harps 0 v Celtic 4 May 18th 1983 at Finn Park Ballybofey

Correct. Charlie Nic's last game first time around.
We beat the huns 4-2 on the Saturday, lost 3-1 to Sunderland at Berwick Rangers ground in a testimonial for someone on the Sunday and played Finn Harps in Ballybofey on the Tuesday.
Three games in 4 days in three different countries.
Wonder if that's ever happened before or since?
Mibbes on tour?

Great picture. Early 1900s I'd say - cycle track still running round Parkhead. And Quinn signed in 1900, and is peripherally placed in the photo, suggesting he is early in his career as a Celtic player.

And the goalkeeper is front right. Pretty certain they used to wear the same strip, but they had to wear a cap to distinguish themselves from the outfield players.

Celtic V Dynamo Kiev EC.
Four Celtic forwards all intent on getting to the ball ? :hmmm:

I wonder if that act of attacking the ball and harassing defenders would bring you any success? :champions:

Yep -It can win your team the European Cup. ;)

Can't imagine big Jock playing Chalmers up front as a lone striker with Lennox in the hole and Jinky and Yogi as wide midfielders :ffs:

Exclusive picture of the team celebrating Sammy's winning goal next Tuesday night against Milan, remember you saw it here first CB :arrr: All Sammy needs is a cross and he is the closest I've ever seen to Jesus
Would love it - I'll take a 1-0 last minute og to the Good Guys on this occasion.

Played Chalmers upfront entirely on his own once that I am aware of which was Dukla away.

Chalmers ran himself into the ground and was MOTM - Even the Prague papers were blown away by his dragging Dukla 's defence all over the shop.

Stein said that victory was a team victory but singled Stevie out.

You know what I mean though. Even under O'Neill we were an attacking team but the current formation we are playing is killing me.

In the SPL we should be playing a minimum of two strikers up front in every game.

Sorry st.a - I knew what you meant and that you knew about Stevie upfront on his todd re Dukla.

I was actually having a pop about Samaras,Stokes and Pukki not even wanting to be in the box let alone tackle or harry and hassle.

She is a publicity whore but give her due she built her business on it.

Making losses now and to date she has cumulatively dropped £300k off the house they are selling since the hubby went :pumptheclown: his staff.
