Somewhere inbetween Hendry and Sir Albert, I can see the big mulleted Hertz fan that was bubbling and greeting with his mate who had a Hearts badge cut into his hair (you all know the pic I mean).

Diet huns version of Rab Ighoose.

That's what I thought.
3 of his team mates from this photo also signed for Celtic.
Macari and maybe some permutation of Clark, McKellar. Murray and Taggart ?

St.Michael's?

Wherabouts pd?

Clark to the right of Lou and Murray behind Clark to the right of the keeper? - Nonsense but might as well have a guess time. :ph43r:

Spot on with Murray, Macari and Clarke CB

McKellar is front row, second from right.

I'm not too sure where this photo was taken but what were they feeding them at that school?

Cheers for the info pd?

Bobby Lennox :worthy: was St.Michael's iirc - They must have been breeding them down there at the time.

Did they ever say if any of the others from that group made it anywhere else?

Always liked that pic of Bertie Auld.

I love how they all appear to be putting in some modicum effort whilst the Bold CPT :worthy: is hovering on his tip-toes with a "Aye you think so - That will be right!!!" persona.
Love the opening line of Tully's autobiography:

"I was born on the 11th of July, 1924 in Belfast. Being me, I wish my ma had hung on for 24 hours."

(Quote is from memory. If anyone has Passed to You, the exact quote would be much appreciated).
Chapter 1 - page 9 - Barefoot Days

It begins with a paragraph on the Gp Old Doc Kennedy (RIP) then ..

The Doc was well onto his sixties before he pulled the first boner of a long and successful career. That was the time he visited the house at 74 McDonnell Street (just off the Falls Road) on 11 July, 1924.

I've always regretted I wasn't born on the Twelth of July - just to be awkward like.

It is St. Mick's. It's at Firhill according to my old man.

Looks like Brian mcclairs goal in the 83-84 league cup final. A terrifically inventive free kick between him an TB.
That's the one. Crackin' goal.

I posted a picture of a Glasgow tram some time ago and this one showed up in a folder now, I still cannot believe that those tricolor trams were allowed ride around the city? I just can't fathom one of those giant Irish flags stopping outside the biggotdome everyday without being attacked by the govan chapter of masonic painters
