One of the disadvantages of growing up a Bhoy in the Republic back in the 70's/80's was the almost zero availability of anything Celtic available on TV or in the papers. I knew names without being able to put a face to them much of the time. Once a month a video cassette would arrive from Scotland with the highlights of a couple of matches on it and a couple of hundred of us would pack a pub for a look. That's my excuse, now who was the team we are playing in that pic?

7/8 years in the wilderness. :nono: This was the beginning of the best ofntimes and my ever second game - One advantage of being an auld bassa is that I was privileged to begin to follow Celtic at the right time.

Jock - "Things would not have worked out so well for Celtic - Had they not won that game"

Bertie Auld swears winning that game was a more important game than Lisbon.

wee Bobby ,Pressy and Stevie partly hidden ??
Behind Haffey Stevie is a better shout than my Charlie Gallagher - The neat tidy brushed back hair.

Who is Wee Bobby, moch? - If Bobby Collins he was away to Everton before Bobby Murdoch signed and Bobby never made his debut until 1962

Is Jim Kennedy the Bhoy under the A ?
yeah Kennedy under A ...and Lennox next to him ? what year do you think it is ,i would say early60s and bobby signed 61 ??

Think one of the guys in the second row is the full back Young and the other is one of the Brogans perhaps Frank?

He noises up Cesar by claiming he done him for his Cup Final hat - trick.

Cesar in turn noises up Stevie Chalmers when he meets him by greeting him with "That should have been my goal - I wanted to score THAT one" :rocker:

Real banter by people who did care and still do. :worthy:

Who needs the Celtic Wiki with you around
Nope - People like the moch, lubomirmoravcik,st a and a good few other Bhoys :worthy: are the ones they tend to just wait and have a laugh whilst myself and occasionally GR make carrots of ourselves and then they keep us all right.

You should really delve about in the Kds Wiki ce - You would love it.
