Looks suspiciously like Cissie(spelling?) for Liverpool, if it is it would have been a US friendly? It certainly looks like an American stadium.
They beat us 5-1 in a friendly in Phillidelphia in July 2004. Cisse's Liverpool debut and he scored twice.

Cue the 'Celts in Crisis' and the cracked Celtic crest in the Daily Record the following day.

Billy McNeill soars to win a header here in the 1966 Scottish Cup final replay against Rangers at Hampden Park. McNeill is a true Celtic great, having played for the club for 18 years, making nearly 500 appearances. He was captain of the Celtic side that famously won the European Cup in 1967. Rangers won on this occasion however, in front of a crowd of more than 98,000. Look at the packed terrace in the picture, with a row of houses behind. It looks like some fans have a prime view from those houses

No 3 looks more like Kennedy to me :ponder:
Sticking with a young Gemmell but you may be right - Looks a bit too tall for Kennedy for me though.
Gemmell challenging Ferguson for the ball  Pretty sure Craig and Kennedy never played in the same team.

Think your wordy bit is in error - the 0-0 had 130,000 ish at it - the replay had only 98,000.

126,599 to be exact.

The Wiki says "Celtic possibly edged it and came closest when McNeill hit the Rangers bar with a thudding header."

I'd guess that's the thudding header in the photy.

He said something along the lines of, 'He's not a bad guy, the Pope. I might have a problem if Artur had a t-shirt saying 'God Bless Myra Hindley!'

A question for the experts, was this an original US type open plan design stadium with no roof or did someone just take the top off the model to see inside better? I'm asking this as someone who has witnessed the rain & cold a Saturday afternoon in CP can give you.
Wonder what happened to the scale model of CP. Did Micheal Kelly smash it up to prove that Fergus wouldn't deliver the finished stadium Would make a decent piece in the museum.

I got this snap with the full line-up underneath, otherwise I'd have been stumped with a few of these faces...
