Of note regarding the Hampden Cup Final pic. I checked with my Celtic Companion which names the refs for all Finals. It has T.Wharton (Clarkston) reffing both games in 1963 Scottish Cup Final and both in 1966 Scottish Cup Final as they both went to Replays.

Great picture, looks like the lads were in someone's sitting room, anybody got the story behind this one.
This was the 20th anniversary reunion in 1987 when they were all still living, apart from the big man of course.

They all got together for a photo shoot and filmed a dvd, from memory it was in Seamill so this is probably inside the Hydro.

Days after this Hay was sacked as manager and McNeill took back the reigns as the centenary approached.

That CR Smith logo does not looked good on the Lions :(

the logo doesn't suit them! I've often wondered why more thought hasn't gone into the logo placement on our tops... the iconic hoops have been wasted too often by this. The diagonal Carling wrecked those kits... the Lisbon anniversary one could have been so much nicer. I know its about sponsorship cash but you'd think we could have some leverage on it....

The line-up in full:

BACK ROW (Left to Right) - Neilly Mochan, Jock Stein, Hugh McKellar, Ian Young, Jim Craig, John Fallon, Jim Harkins, Tommy Gemmell, John Hughes, Billy McNeill, David Cattanach, George Connelly (behind McMahon in the black & white photo), Pat McMahon, Sammy Henderson, John Taggart, Sean Fallon and Bob Rooney.

MIDDLE ROW (Left to Right) - Chris Shevlane, Ronnie Simpson, Stevie Chalmers, Joe McBride, Willie Wallace, Willie O'Neill, Bobby Murdoch, Charlie Gallagher, Jimmy Johnstone, John Clark and Tony Taylor.

FRONT ROW (Left to Right) - Jim Clark, Jimmy Quinn, Tony McBride, Bertie Auld, Lou Macari, Bobby Lennox (behind Davidson in the black & white photo), Victor Davidson, Kenny Dalglish, Fred Pethard, Danny McGrain, John Gorman and Tony O'Brien.

Not that clever CB - Got it from the CGS thread. http://celticgraves.com/topic/9385302/6/

Probably the only 2 who could put a name to them all is Paul Dykes or according to GR John Fallon

Edit - Would have saved a lot of time if I had known it was there - I tried to memorise them from the last time - Failed miserably as per  - tbh I honestly had never heard of Tony O'Brien flc - I had another obviously totally wrong name in mind which will come back to me. :ffs:

The word 'Legend' is used far too gleefully these days but this man exudes its very definition.
