Definitely Cooper.

Think this would be the Scottish Cup game in 1975.
Big Roddy scored in 4-1 win
One of the first Sunday games ?
No that was the year before in the 6-1 game 1973-74 this game was 74-75

Two pictures taken from the website of St Bernadette's Parish where Celtic took part in a match to raise funds to build the new parish church, the Coronation Cup was on proud display so I'm assuming circa 53'-54. Another instance of the important role Celtic FC played in their community.

Don't think I've ever been so cold and wet at a game in my puff ! :baltic:
My older bro got married that day ,turned out a cracking night we left the house for the
chapel at 2-0 but during the mass we heard or rather seen somebody wi the fingers up 2-1[
[that just didn't come out right that but yous get my meaning] so lots of nerves shredded before
we got the final score. The night guests who where at the game came in to the hall
soaked to the skin, but a few beers later and the party was in full swing .
probably the most one-sided 2-1 scoreline I have ever seen! Should have put at least 4 past them that day!

Your right at 2-0 up at half time I really thought we could end up scoring 7 but it never happened.Soaked to the skin that day but worth it.The only annoying thing that era is we never really hammered the huns because they really were there for the taking.

We lost to ac Milan oin 1969.After playing so well in Nottingham ,where there could have been another hillsborough ,I was gutted losing to forest though we were denied a clear cut penalty when mcstay was brought down.

you are correct, I don't think we ever beat them by more than 2 goals in that period..... and they certainly were there for the taking

I felt the same. It was total dominance. And we were a class above them. Didn't drive it home for some reason.
